Oh yeh, the Phoenix board is ecstatic over this trade. I guess they really hate Hedo that bad. Dwight better motivate this guy. Personally, I think Hedo will be so happy to come back home, that he will do his best to help the team. Really, he probably would not be happier anywhere else in the NBA.

I don't think we'd be interested. We have our depth at the four set with Bass/Anderson. We'd need a backup five, not a four.

With these trades completed, hopefully it's the end of the stretch PF bull crap. IMO Bass has proven he should be our starting PF while he is in a Magic jersey.

Lewis has been worthless for nearly a season now if you count the playoffs. His play has just fallen off. What I can't believe is how we actually were able to trade him. Arenas has a lot left in the tank. He has actually looked good this year. I always thought we could get him for Carter, but for Lewis? No way.

Richardson, Hedo Clark > Carter, Pietrus, Gortat. People are acting like Gortat isn't replaceable. He is and will be most likely soon. Veteran back up bigs are a dime a dozen and considering Howard never really misses games, they are every more worthless to us.

As long as our guys stay in front of their guys until Dwight comes in to clean up we will be fine. It's always about team defense. JJ is not a great defender but he knows how to stay with his guy and funnel him to Dwight. Individual defense is over rated. Even lock down defenders get their arses handed to them constantly.

Who are we losing that was so valuable on defense? Granted, depending on the lineup now, we could really struggle defensively, but we're not losing any of our key players on defense. Richardson isn't as bad as people make him out to be, and it's not like VC, Lewis or Pietrus ever really gave fantastic effort on that end.

Sam Dalembert would be perfect for you guys, but due to his expiring contract size, I'm not sure how that trade would go through.

Let's give Hedo a warm welcome here, he needs to motivation to rekindle his game... he's only 33, but his game never relied on athleticism and quickness... but on his ability to run PNR, pass, and take open looks/shoot over defenders (height advantage)

Hedo, if you can play at least 80% of how you were for us 2 years ago, I'll be happy

I really hope it doesnt mean nelson will come off the bench, we should start him and arenas at the backcourt and bench arenas after 5 mintues so he could carry the second team and so that they wont have to play together for long stretches.

I wonder what the trade means for q, with hedo and jrich at the 3 when will he ever get to play?.
