Yeah it sounds to me like the Magic made a desperate move to ship Lewis and Carter out to try and keep Dwight happy. He might be happier now but it's a long season.

What hasn't been pointed out is that Arenas and J-Rich are back together,on a contender...LOL Former Warriors unite! :rock:

I actually think Magic did get better with this trade with Arenas and Richardson. Also Phoenix got better too with Gorat.

Poor Vince Carter :cry:

They realize trading Barbosa for Hedo was a mistake. He wasn't helping at all. So they decided to get rid of him and his contract.

I would be. Richardson is by far the best player in the trade. Carter and Gortat aren't that good.

Carter - 15 and 4 with a 55 ts% (bad)
Gortat - Decent rebounder and defender, bad at everything else

Richardson carried the suns in the playoffs last year and made all the big shots for them. Plus, we don't even know how this will affect nash, it certainly won't make him happy

The only real plus for phx is getting rid of hedo

Oh man, I want to say good things about the Magic players traded to the Suns but there isn't much to say. You will probably end up disliking all three for various reasons. I feel like the Magic got a steal.

Shard still has it though, he will play well for Washington.

Bad trade for ORL. I think they could have gotten more value for Gortat, he is a starting caliber center and against a team like BOS/MIA when Dwight gets into foul trouble he was invaluable. Not to mention against LA, losing size is a bad idea...

Arenas also seems a shadow of what he once was, though I would definitely deal Rashard for him regardless.

I do like J-Rich for ORL though.
