vc, gortat, pietrus for j-rich, hedo, earl clark, and 1st round pick

i'm not sure about the 1st round pick though

We have a very young talented team at the 4 and 5 positions minus allen.

We were a contender before, and now we still are. We had Dwight before, and now we still have Dwight. Although this does potentially give us a better shot. VC showed he was not going to be a legitimate second star. There's at least that hope with Arenas.

Lewis will never get his due from people for the work he put in in Orlando. His contract figure wasn't his fault. His clutch play helped take us to the finals in 2009, and he spent his entire time here playing out of position, taking extra poundings, and doing his best to help the team be successful. Thanks Rashard.

I'd rather us have waited longer on to make any trades cause J Rich ain't an upgrade to Vince Carter.

i live here in PHX, and you guys are getting a ridiculous upgrade at SG in JRich...dude is still explosive as ever, and can shoot lights out for 3...and he plays very well without the ball in his hands...he will be perfect alongside Arenas and Howard...he is completely underrated as a defender too...he is no stopper by any means, but i wouldnt consider him a liability at all.

np, i can only hope the medical staff here in Phoenix can pull a Shaq/Grant Hill-type rejuvination with VC...him and Nash could be pretty amazing together

I don't understand how people can think these are bad trades.

Arenas/Nelson backcourt? sick, and we finally have a point with size.
Richardson/JJ? straight fire power, JRich IS an upgrade over VC in every way.
Hedo/Q? Hedo is an upgrade over MP and Q, plus we all know what Hedo can do for us.
Bass/Anderson. People were calling for this before the trade.
Howard. Beast.

Look at that depth. Do any of you really care about losing Carter, Gortat, or MP? None of them were vital for us. Also think about these three guys playing with a fire lit under their ass. This is nuts.

they should be, vc came in great shape this season, lost 3% body fat
