Are you guys thinking what I'm thinking? The Suns could resurrect VC like they did with Shaq. Think about it. It's also sort of a similar situation because we give up a beloved Suns player in the process and the player we're getting in return in VC will probably only stick around for a year... just like Shaq. Think about it guys. This training staff has worked wonders in the past.

All you guys should be estatic. Losing J Rich hurts, but if Vince is motivated, he could be an upgrade. Gortat is huge, and Pietrus is a solid defender with a great 3 ala Raja Bell.

You went from no size to two legit 7 footers, with Gortat being the better of the two. If anything, you can start Frye at PF.

these guys wants 10 bucks or every dollar they give up! I think its a good trade. this trade made it possible for roles to become more defined and non of this versatility crap! Imagine a 7 foot lou amundson!As far as pietrus and VC, I think they are going to be shipped somewhere else along with the draft pick.

This looks like a solid deal for Phoenix, nice job.

Got out of Hedo's horrible contract, get a legit big in Gortat, and a Frye/Gortat frontcourt should be interesting. At least on offense, you got the spacing, although I have no idea how well Gortat can play as the roll man in the PnR.

I assume you guys don't care about losing JRich so much since you'd likely let him go this offseason anyway, and Vince can at least somewhat match his production. Carter's been shooting lights out from 3-pt range this year.

Great trade IMO.

Gortat is exactly what the Suns need. As long as they don't end up losing Nash at the deadline, the Suns should make the playoffs just fine.
