Vince Carter will play better in Phoenix. You will be surprised. In Orlando recently, he looked like he was tired and with all that pressure of being the 2nd option that every criticizes really messed up his game.

He goes to Phoenix and he's more of a role player than 2nd option. You guys get more size with Gortat, Lopez and Frye.

You can move Warrick to starting PF where he has played great. You guys got the better end of the deal.

Nash/Dragic
Carter/Peaches/Childress
Hill/Dudley
Warrick/Frye
Lopez/Gortat

That's a really solid team. I just hope Gortat doesn't say Phoenix sells bad...

Carter needs to go. I've met the guy a number of times and can say that he's a complete tool. If he could hoop it up I honestly wouldn't care but he just doesn't have any heart. He's quit on countless teams in the past even faking injuries. The guys garbage. Here's to hoping he's traded before he ever is given a jersey. Hope Lopez slams the door on his ass on the way out.

Maybe.... who has what we want and who needs lots of cap relief?

If Carter is healthy and motivated he's a legit second option who can take some pressure off Nash. If he's not, he's still a good role player who can put points on the board.

This might not be the last Suns deal either. They're still working other avenues. With this trade, they have just as many wings as before.

Let's all pray.

Sixers come to mind. They're just to bad to warrant 70 million. Avery in New Jersey wants Troy Murphy gone that's another option.

On a side note, only 9 out of 30 teams in the league have payroll as small as the Suns. We(Sarver) can definitely afford to take on some salary.

Now we need to trade Warrick plus one of our 1sts for a PF.

See, if you just had a Hedo jersey back when he was in Orlando then you have nothing to worry about because that jersey is now back in style!

Agent Bill Duffy tells Y! Sports Suns owner Robert Sarver has assured him that "nothing is going on" trade wise with Suns star @SteveNash.

Suns didn't "rape" Orlando in this trade..

Orlando made a good trade they needed to make to get better..

Vince Carter, have fun with him...

Gortat is a good pickup, and what is Pietrus going to do? How much PT will Pietrus get? Suns needed to make this trade to get better imo..

Orlando had to make this trade to get better on defense, get another player that can create shots, and somebody who can help finish a game..

VC will never live up to what he was meant to be, he just isn't that player or person, but you guys have enough offense to take some of that pressure away..

Good trade for both teams honestly..

Everybody is saying, well now Orlando doesn't have a backup big, but they can still trade

Duhon, J will, or somebody else to play Center, especially because Arenas will probably take up 25-30 minutes at PG or SG...

Orlando pretty much admitted it, Duhon was a terrible signing, Carter experiment didn't work, and Rashard fell off and has been tuning out SVG and isn't the same player since he got caught with HGH..
