Hedo will most likely look better than he has over the last 2 years but he won't be the Hedo that we once had in the NBA Finals. The good news is that our roster allows Hedo to have the ball in his hands more than he was able to in Toronto & Phx, and that is when Hedo plays well.

Don't be surprised to get the old Hedo back or 99% of him. Grant Hill and Steve Nash really take the diet and fitness thing seriously and they were really working on Hedo. Supposedly dropped 15-20 pounds. There was a play in the LAC game where a pass was made to Hedo and Eric Gordon stole the ball and took off. Hedo keep up with him nicely and Gordon is fast. I'm not saying he's lighting quick but I think he's moving well. He just needs to get a bit of confidence bask.

He isn't, but it's the only lineup that makes sense if Jameer is staring. Otherwise there'd be no minutes for Redick.

BTW no one mentioned yet that in both trades Orlando saved 4,4 mil in salaries, but since 30% season is gone lets say 3 mil, meaning in luxury tax 6 mil.

At first I didn't want Turk back. But now it kind of makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside that he will be slipping on a Magic uni again. Hopefully he doesn't change my mind by SUCKING.

No way?

woooow i have never ever been that type of fan. EEVVVEERRR when shaq left it was f him. when tmac left it was f him. i can't believe fans like that.

seriously it reminds me of the old bulls fans here in LA. when jordan retired for the last time they all became laker fans when the laker fans were winning

I hope you know that most fans outside of North America are player fans. I honestly don't see anything wrong with that. There are many reasons to enjoy watching basketball.

It looks bad if you are pretending to be a big supporter of a team and yet walk out the door the moment they lose or when the novelty has worn off. But RvM never lied about being a Vince Carter fan anyway.

Kid was a good poster and was always respectful to other Magic fans so he was good in my book. In fact, much better than some 'real' Magic fans who bait other posters, flood our board with really dumb trade ideas, and add nothing of value.

So. Only got on the computer about fifteen minutes ago. I find the team I knew has made major changes. Getting used to the idea. Someone needs to remake that Orlando Magic calender computer background. I hope this works.
Remember when Kobe elbowed Jameer in the chin so hard Jameer was knocked down and sent skidding across the floor?

If J-Rich leaves this season, we basically traded all our assets for Hedo

WTF? I leave that other thread in page 60, get some little drink in me cuz it's christmasn, and I wake up to this? I dunno if it's the hangover or what BUT, Hedo is back???

I actually laughed/cried in the other thread when we had the rumor about PHO being a partner cuz I was afraid of Turk being part of the deal. I dunno what to feel about now. honestly I'm scared but I hope he proves me wrong.

I can't believe our lineup has 4 PGs. Arenas is more effective as the PG than the SG right? I think I read someone make the arguement about that. JRich won't be effective in the 3, I guess that's why Hedo is there. So unless we're gonna put our 100mill contract on the bench, Meer or Arenas would be a little "demotivated" being the bench guy.

I dunno... on the good side, Ryan can "probably" work harder knowing that he will get minutes this time and Bass would be smiling knowing that two big competition for his minutes are gone.

JJ and Qrich, will they still even be in the rotation with the surplus wings we have? LOL a few days ago we had a surplus of bigs, now it's the other way around

I dunno.. I think the drinks are still in me, can't think straight. Ah well... will be sad RvM will be gone from this baord.

that is an excellent point. overseas fans or fans outside of NA usually have no choice :-?

Why not involve Howard in the trade and steal Channing Frye ? Apparently, you can never have enough 3 pointers in your team.

Like I mentioned before, I really like the Arenas-Lewis deal.

However, I'm skeptical on the Phoenix and in particular, Dealing the best asset on this team in Marcin Gortat along with a first and then taking this chance on Hedo Turkoglu.

It's done though and we will all move forward and hope for the best.

Nelson is starting and won't be benched unless we move Duhon and/or Williams it's that simple....Hedo is perfect for us off the bench....He can control the ball instead of Duhon and sort of carry the second team along with JJ....Hedo needs the ball in his hands to be truly effective and i can't see him doing that with Meer and Arenas and Dwight on the court at the same time...it's only logical
