Favors would be absolutely ideal. Too bad he is close to untouchable barring a superstar like Melo.

Even Przybilla would be OK. Pek is completely overmatched and terrible defensively so far.

The biggest problem is that players trust each other so little they sell out their own assignment to bail out a teammate that maybe didn't need it.

I agree that the bolded is the biggest problem right now, but I think that shows that it is not an inherent flaw in our scheme but rather a problem with the players still learning to trust eachother. The good sign is that this type of overhelping is not a sign of lack of effort. I really think that slowly but surely they will learn to trust eachother more and more, and our team D will gradually improve. A PG that could at least put some pressure on the ball or stay in front of his man at least some of the time would also help quite a bit, and I think Rubio will be a big improvement there.

I still don't understand how Andre Miller can beat Ridnour off the dribble. That pretty much means that he can't stay in front of anyone, and thats just pathetic.

And when i think of the problems you mentioned that we have on defense - not being able to fight through screens, and constantly selling out to help (or go for the steal) I Immediately think of Brewer.
