Can you define "assets"?

Vince and JRich cross each other out. So by assets you must mean Gortat, Pietrus and a meaningless late 1st rounder. I'd give that up to get our Pick 'n Roll from Hedo back. ...and JRich is better than Vince every day, all day. So if you look at the other side of the spectrum of him coming back (and we do have his Bird rights which allows us to pay him the most and go over the cap), then you have to like the risk. JRich and Hedo do waaaaaaaaaaaaay more for us than Vince, MP and Gortat were.

If that happened (we lose in playoffs and JRich leaves) then I'll be calling for Smith's head.

Wow! Looks like a panic move to me. This did NOT make you guys any better, only different. You now have no backup for DH and three past their prime players.

Otis could have done better.

And how many past their prime players do you have?

Let`s pretend Otis wanted Hedo at all costs , Phoenix was willing to trade Hedo for almost expirings something like this.

Duhon,Pietrus,Q for Hedo.

Then we make the best trade for Gortat.

If we're in pretend land ... then sure.

I think people are overlooking the newfound depth we have on the wings

pg: nelson/arenas/duhon
sg: Jrich/JJ/Arenas
SF: Hedo/Q/Jrich

if Hedo can somewhat refind what he had with us we are loaded offensively, remember our big thing getting to the finals was his size and ballhandling pairing with Lewis, well Ryan Anderson is probably better than Lewis right now, same type of player, only now we have a backcourt thats really good and a better Howard

the other teams did not use Hedo like we did, rest assured Stan will use him almost exactly like he once did
aol4532 on bill russell
I think if you put McGee back then, he would get those blocks just as easily as Russell did. Russell's athleticism was well ahead of the players of his time, and that's about it.

Carter, Lewis, and Pietrus, and Gortat > Earl, Arenas, J-Rich, Hedo

Does no one here see that you lost talent, and you got WORSE contracts than you already had. arenas and hedo are here until 2013 now lol. make 35 mill between the two of them. Dwight is officially gone now if this doesnt work, but that might be a good thing. Dwight as a go to guy will never bring a title. He has no low post moves. Hes the same player he was 2-3 years ago, no improvement what so ever

agree with you except for the fact that Hedo isn't starting right away nor should he....we need to see what kind of shape he is in cause i watched him deteriorate in Toronto and he wasn't so good in Phoenix maybe he got a little better recently but i guess it's a good problem to have
