We've been pretty good in the 4th until recently but we still need to play better in the 1st quarter.

This is the first game in awhile where we had everybody hustling and playing hard.

Good to see that the embarrassment in New Orleans wasn't the start of a losing streak.

My Players of the Game: Paul millsap, Al j, Dwill, Cj

Doghouse: Raja the misisng a week has really cost him his timing shooting.
Memo- timing still not back but took a few ill-advised shots.

After that first quarter, I thought this would be another huge loss, but I'm really glad to see these guys put in the effort to pull this one out against a pesky team that is playing well. Great play all around. Could have shot better, but you're not going to shoot that well with Bogut on the prowl. Man, is he good or what? That guy would be a dream on our team. Nonetheless, great game, and Deron came out THE MAN after taking that tech. Nice win for many reasons.

For all the trash I gave Al for the game last night (and Deron too, for that matter), I love how he played tonight against Bogut. I think he is good for 4 or 5 more points when his hand is healed and he can go up strong for a dunk. I just really hope that he can find some consistency between now and then to keep this team in a good position.

I thought Deron would have more like 15 assists after watching this game, but 11 is nice.

It was great to see Memo hit a money 3, I hope he stays zeroed in.

If the jazz can ever make a serious run at acquiring Andrew Bogut we need to do it. He may be the key piece to a jazz championship run....What won us this game - rebounds. The possession where Big Al missed two shots but we got the rebound and than finished on 3rd shot was the story of the game. We worked them on the glass and it was ultimately the difference. Besides Bogut you've got a pretty small team in Milwaukee and it showed tonight.

Absolutely. Hell, there was a Finals game against the Bulls where the Jazz played about as bad as any team I've ever seen.

I call bull. Stockton didn't take that game off mentally. Nothing was going for him, and his teammates played like garbage also. There was no lack of effort in that game (it was the **** Finals, for God's sake); they just played terribly.

So, to answer Lava's question: no, John Stockton never mentally checked out like Deron sometimes does.

He wasn't the only one who checked out of that game, but if you're going to say Deron did against the Hornets it's hard to say Stockton didn't in that game. His stat line was 2 points, 7 dimes, 5 turnovers on 1-4 shooting. But I guess determining who's in a game mentally or not is fairly subjective. I will say you could make a case that Stockton was the worst player on the court for the Jazz in that game.
