I still think that's quite a lot to give up for Greinke. Not sure how I feel about it.

Not much of a baseball person so I have no clue what we are giving up as far as prospects, but from a casual stand point it sounds awesome to me. Hopefully he gets an extension and my interest in trying to follow baseball will peak a quite a bit. It would totally be a Wisconsin sports team move to trade Fielder now after making an "all in move" lol.

Yeah that is true, i remember reading it on some sports site. I was looking up baseball trade rumors, and this trade popped up, but it said it is unlikely because Greinke has Milwaukee on his no trade list.

I hope it is true though.

no trade clauses are rarely invoked, most players only have them for leverage, no way Grienke blocks this deal

Has anyone serious (i.e., ESPN, Heyman, Verducci, Gammons, Rosenthal) broken this story? Or is this just local milwaukee. MLB trade rumors doesn't even have this up.

I've been scouring the web and I haven't seen anyone outside of Jim Breen and Andrew Wagner report it. Every other site that's mentioned it just links back to one of those two articles.
