Met Kevin Garnett in a Bestbuy once. I had just purchased a Nas CD and KG signed it for me.

Never saw nor heard of him dunking in a game before 9th grade- despite being in the 6'7 plus range. I recall him break dancing at a school dance -with a cast on his leg from hip to ankle - doing the windmill. He played offensive tackle / defensive end in football during jr high years ( Germany)

Do you know Stacey Miller from school in Germany?

Who is Stacey Miller? In the mid 80's there were about 25 to 35 completely American high schools in West Germany. Another 20 or so in surrounding NATO countries. Never heard of him.

She is the mom of a girl I know lol...she went to school with Shaq as well so I thought maybe you would know her.

I met Shaq one summer while he was visiting LSU. He was cool as hell.

And I still hate him.

Penny Hardaway is actually my cousin and I was supposed to meet him at a family reunion in Atlanta in the late 90's. He never showed. **** him.

So is KG pretty chill off the court? From the stories I've heard of him so far from people on here (just briefly went through some pages) he sounds pretty chill but I've also heard some horror stories about him from fans.

I went to boarding school where the Holt's sent their kinds. So I met most of the spurs back in the day (4-8 years ago). I got to eat lunch with the Admiral also

My friend and his dad were at Baja Fresh in California. KG was there. As my friend walked by him, KG says to his dad, "Kid needs a bigger shirt."

Kindof funny, kindof dickish.

I spoke Kevin Martin's dad several times does that count? I also spoke to Starbury on the phone, met Jamal Crawford at circuit city, met Hasheem Thabeet and Amaechi in NYC, and got autographs of several players (Brand, Thad Young, Aaron Gray, Randy Brown, Kenny Thomas, Spencer Hawes, Yannick Noah (Joakim's dad)) before games. All of them seemed pretty cool to me.

Anthony Randolph in Vegas last July. I was drunk as hell leaving the pool at Excalibur and screamed out his name, he said what's up. I think he was more surprised I knew who he was, it was during Summer League.

Stayed at a hotel called the Jefferson in Richmond, Virgina. Ben Wallace happened to be having his wedding reception there during our stay. Never got to talk to Ben he was too busy dancing. Talked briefly with Jerry Stackhouse who gave us an autograph, cracked a few jokes, and walked away. Talked with Rod Strickland for like five minutes about his upcoming free agency and he was telling me where he wanted to go which I thought was so cool. He was an engaging guy.

I've bumped into Gilbert a couple times. Nice guy. First time was back at the start of '07 when EVERYONE was gaga over him and Hibachi-crazy. Was surprised at how down to earth and easy to talk to he was considering he was one of the biggest bball stars on the planet at that time. Gonna miss him in Washington.
