y'all don't see Duhon minutes getting cut instead of JJ's? i think so, Arenas could come off the bench as a one, and that way JJ is backing up Richardson.

Getting Arenas for Lewis was great - Lewis was terrible at his price. Arenas although expensive has the potential to put Orlando over the top!

Congrats to Arenas. Magic board, you just gained a great deal of followers whom have grown to love Arenas over the years in D.C. And we have no doubt you'll grow to understand why so many in D.C. consider him one of their, if not their single most, favorite basketball player in the history of the game. rephrase - Out of every team in the league Arenas would suck on the Magic the most. SVG is gonna loose his voice the first week of having this guy. J rich was a good pickup though....but pretty much if no championship is won in the next 2 seasons say bye to orlando being a contender for a LONG time.

I understand that, and have mentioned it (SVG stating that Nelson will start) numerous times myself, but I still see Nelson "transitioning" to the bench over time (and nothing is going to be permanent until games are played, so things WILL change)... and if Nelson starts, either Gilbert, J-Rich, or Hedo need to come off the bench

Gilbert for Lewis is great

Getting J-Rich is great, Hedo is hit or miss but optimistic, and Earl Clark is a total unknown

Losing Gortat hurts, but happy to see Pietrus and VC leave

Magic are currently finding a way to acquire another big (PF/C) who can back-up Howard for 8-12 minutes, possibly get rid of Duhon

Nelson/Arenas debate is running rampant on here, some want Nelson to start, others want Nelson to be a 6th man, some want Nelson to be traded, while the majority stated that we must keep Nelson

Other than that, it's go for broke attitude here in Orlando... Championship or bust

Now I've slept on this I think this has been a great move.

I am sad to see Vince and Rashard leave - not because I don't think we've improved - Arenas/Richardson/Hedo will give us more than Shard/Vince/Gortat, but just because I've grown to love both the players.

As long as Otis follows through and gets that back up C, we should be better off - last night just showed how desperate we would be with Howard off the floor - Allen really cant back him up for more than a few minutes, certainly not in a game we are down and not really firing on cylinders.

First GIlbert for Lewis is ok if we decided to trade Nelson for Big :/

i hate trade with PHX. Firstly we get ugly Hedo contract , secondly we lost our big trade asset in Gortat.
(but i like J.Richardson and i know that hedo needed to be taken:/)
too bad we were not able to do smth like that :

Hedo (needed to be taken to get J.Richardson) + JRich for Carter and Pietrus + fillers. That would be great.

then we could trade gortat and nelson for combo C/PF , but now gortat is gone and we do not have much trade assets to get another big (which for sure will be needed to fight vs BOS/LA)
(and Gortat was needed to be traded because he was just not good enough vs BOS and LA but NOT for freakin hedo)

i just hate Hedo here. imo he cannot play anymore and his contract is just ugly :/
