I know I will be. So lets have everyone do it. Skeptical about Turk, but hey they have more punch now. 3 players that can go off for 50 now.

I hope Gil does well, although I haven't appreciated his moping act the last few weeks. But as for the Magic, I would only cheer for them because they're not the Celtics or the Heat.

i dont know about u guys but i feel kinda betrayed by gil. i wish he would acknowledge the fans for staying loyal to him. theres not many cities whos fan base would have been so supportive of him for wat he has done. now with the recent interview hes seems bitter towards washington, and just makes our entire franchise look bad. its like breaking up with a gf and then watching her date some other dude. i guess ill root for him but imo, its gonna be hard to watch

I haven't seen him call out the fans and I don't expect to. He said thank you to Ted for giving him the opportunity to go to a good situation, and has so far been civil towards Ernie.

I think it's still too early though, he just flew into Orlando yesterday.

I'll have no problems whatsoever rooting for Orlando to come out of the East--especially against LeQueen.

I do not feel betrayed by Gil. Even if he later does come out and say something, realize it's just Gil and it will probably change a few weeks later anyway.

The DC organization and a lot of fans turned on Gilbert, and the ones who did not were drown out by the ones who did. I fully understand where Gilbert is coming from at this point.

Judging by the response to Gilbert in the home games, I don't think that's accurate and I don't think Gil believes that either.

Dwight Howard who can opt out of his contract in 2012. My guess is that not many teams will have the capspace to sign him as a free agent so i will be rooting against them so he might consider leaving.

Damn all the hate for the Heat on this board too? The Wizards weren't even. Squad that got snubbed.

Uhm no, I won't be cheering for them. I honestly hope it blows up in their face and Dwight bolts in 2 years.

Yeah because that's what happens every time the Wizards trade their players somewhere right?

Dwight is going nowhere, and in 2 years you'll be more worried about John Wall bolting than anything Orlando is doing.

I'm amazed at the irony of thinking a player like Dwight Howard will bolt from a team who has made the Finals and done everything to make him happy, yet somehow John Wall will be a Wizard for life playing on the WORST TEAM IN THE NBA with an owner more content to sit on his ass and let everything play out than to even bother fielding a competitive team. Amazing the kind of things Wizards fans will tell themselves.

I won't have a problem rooting for them. The fact that they have to go through douche KG and LeBronze just makes it that much easier.

Lebron did it, why can't Dwight? And when have I ever said Dwight will bolt to the Wizards?

LeBron and who else did it?

LeBron just sort of strikes me as a little bit of a unique personality and situation though.

I see John Wall as more of the LeBron type than Dwight. I'm sure we all saw him yucking it up with LeBron (just like Boobie Gibson in Cleveland) from the Wizards bench last night.

I'll be happy to root for them as well....for 1-2 weeks. That being said after a while if Arenas kicks some ass it will be like watching the Sac Kings all over again after Webber got shipped there. Gets depressing and eventually makes you mad.

I'll crawl back into my Wizards hole after the nostalgia passes. Sadly enough, my new favorite player at this point has to be Nick Young (ouch).

The same player my girlfriend always says looks "awkward" and giggles because he "runs funny". She also has nicknamed him "Afro Boy". This is my new favorite player.

Mine too. For all the sh*t Nick got from his coaches for being too stupid or not being good enough despite his talents, I haven't seen him sulk or let it affect his personality. He just seems like a good carefree dude.

I don't care if his assist numbers suck. The guy can score better than almost anyone in the league.

Seriously though, a BIG LOL @ Wizards fans who think they can talk about pipe dreams like Dwight Howard signing here on this forum, but when I bring it to the attention of Dwight's current team; you guys try and run there to save face by saying you don't really think that.

Here's the reality, for as smart and well-spoken as some of you here think you are; you're still Wizards fans. In the grand scheme of things, if you filled an auditorium with all NBA fans and had to have a vote on who gets to speak to the crowd, educated Wizards fans would be very very close to the last people anybody would give a damn about listening to. I'm pretty sure more people would listen to bandwagon LAKERS fans than Wizards fans.

So for all your high and mighty righteousness you guys have shown towards me, a FELLOW WIZARDS FAN, you guys don't realize how insignificant every thing that you say really is in the bigger picture.

Arenas was an immature, disrespectful baby.

If he had, you know, shown some remorse for the gun incident, maybe he'd deserve the support of the fans and the organization. Instead, what did he do? Comes out before a game and makes fun of the situation.

Then, he moped around like a little girl, supposedly because the organization didn't "have his back" (even though Ted, very publicly, said he did). In reality, he was just moping around to force a trade, and thus pissed all over the fans, while trying to cast the organization in a negative light.

Good riddance.

And if you're not going to cheer for the Wizards anymore because he's gone, fine. Good riddance to you too. We're better off without you.

The moping surely couldn't be because his mother also died.

But I'm sure you'd be the fountain of sunshine if your mother died, you got suspended and embarrassed nation wide, lost a ton of money and couldn't participate in the only thing that you ever loved doing.

You mean, the mother that he wasn't close to, that abandoned him at a young age, that he wasn't even in contact with?

Yeah, right.
