Local media reports that a small trade might follow. I personally expect Redick to be shipped for a combo big.

Ah I see you have forgotten something called BYC. Redick actually can stop any trade. Remember as with Gortat they can't trade Redick if he is not happy with it.

Personally I expect another player to be traded for a center like the one the Kings are offering. He was a lottery pick who they now rarely use, but he fits the Magic needs really well. All the Kings need is a pg to help them out.

I really don't see the Magic holding on to 4 pgs. That just doesn't make any sense.

I think he hated the wings on offense.

The wings were never supposed to be great defenders anyways. Dwight has always been cleaning up the mess on D.

FYI, get used to telling these stories when the Gil hate comes (and it will).

Gil used to practice so much in the middle of the night (both at golden state and Washington), they gave him a key to the court. After losses, Gil could be found at the stadium practicing the shots he missed (all night long).

When he was first injured in Washington, the trainer told him if he played on it he could risk lifelong injury. To which Gilbert said, "I don't care if I can walk when I'm forty, I want to win now. Let me stand still and pass me the ball and I promise I'll make the shots. (paraphrased)" Gil refused to put on a suit for the first few games while injured; wore his jersey and shorts; and sat on the bench in case coach changed his mind.

Obviously, the adopted a kid whose family died in a fire story shows his character.

We got a million of these type stories about Gil in Washington (many from personal experience). We could fill five pages worth. Trust me, you'll gather your own collection. Gil's that type of cat who will keep making people love (and hate) him forever.

The way our team works usually is good offense leads to good defense. As long as we can score, D12 defense usually wins us games anyways.

Damn these Magic.com fans. Rashard should definitely be the most missed player. Everyone hated him this season, and it took him to actually get traded for us to realize how much we miss him.

Good trade for you guys. Otis had to make a decisiono which direction he wanted to go, improve the offense or improve the defense. And he choose to improve the offense, Arenas and Turk are players who can create their own points making the Magic offense more versatile. Also the Magic have two very good trading chips in Richardson and Nelson..
