Game 14: Packers at Cheaters - 7:20 P.M.

Post#1 » by MickeyDavis » Sun Dec 19, 2010 2:37 pm

Most of us expect to lose and there is really zero pressure on Flynn as no one expects much. But the Pats defense isn't all that good. If the defense can force a couple of turnovers (tough I know), we have a shot. It will certainly help if Philly wins earlier in the day.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Every game in the NFL is winnable and not just in theory. If we play well, we'll be in this at the end.

The defense is great especially since they are always on the field. But unless Brady leaves the game the offense can't score enough points to hang with Brady even if he has a bad day. The special teams is one of the worst in the NFL so no help thier either.

I've felt for quite some time that our defense is a lot of smoker and mirrors. Not to say they aren't good but they aren't as good as the numbers would say. Considering how much time they have been on the field and all the injuries its amazing what Capers has pulled off.

This could be the week where the defense gets absolutely destroyed.

what I'm personally looking for is for Flynn to play well enough to increase his trade value. If we can turn him into a high draft pick then mission accomplished for me.

Brady has won 26 in a row at home...Hopefully Flynn with a full week of practice with the first team can improve from last week

Stuck up north in a cabin today, won't be getting back until just before the Packer game. Would have loved to have been home on my couch watching Sunday Ticket. Perfect day with all the great games.

I actually feel bad for our defense, easy schedule and playing teams who were trying to get their coach fired or not they've put this team in a postion to be sitting at least at 10-3 right now,MM and the offense didn't hold up their end of the bargin and now we're going to likley miss the playoffs.

Hell,if the defense didn't play great and with a ton of heart we would probably be 5-8,the offense did them zero favors this season.

The way to beat Brady is to hit him. I don't care if we get a couple of penalties, you must hit him good for a quarter to throw him off. He has been playing out of his mind lately.

Just look at their two losses to the Browns and Jets this year...

GB can win, but we can't beat ourselves and we are going to have to score from turnovers and play great special teams for the first time this season.

I think Flynn can play... he has had 3 years to sit... he knows the offense and his teammates.

We need Clay to have like 8 sacks today to have a chance.

I don't even care if we lose now that I know we control our own destiny. Win would be awesome but I'm not expecting one.

The funny thing is if we win today and the Jets beat the Steelers that division will still be wide open and the Jets will play their asses off vs the Bears next week.

If we lose today though the Pats pretty much have the division and then the Jets might rest starters next week vs the Bears.

We really caught a break with that Giants Eagles game obviously, like you said even if we lose today we still get a wild card if we win our last 2.

The way things have been going today maybe we'll beat the Pats and the Bears will lose to the Vikings tommorow.

:)

If that happened I'd start thinking the football gods had been **** with us this whole time.
