Thank goodness they don't have Rajon Rondo. Otherwise we'd probably be getting shredded right now.

Good to see that JOB is finally taking the Pacers recent rebounding woes seriously and actually playing 4s ( except Posey ) who box out.

Tyler really battling Garnett.. Thats the type of play that just irritates opponents.

Looks a little rusty on the offensive end though after getting such sporadic playing time.

I like how we rebound less when Posey plays. And we score less. How about Rush in as an attacker and defender in the 4th? Why does our finishing squad include Dunleavy and Posey? Rush and Foster/Solo/McBob/Hansbrough, PLEASE.

The day Dunleavy is no longer on this team, I'm throwing a party.

When Danny shoots like he did we rarely win. Atleast he got to the line tho.

I'd be fine if he just doesn't play the 4th quarter. We needed defense. We needed attacking offense. You can't close out an opponent on bad defense and jumpshots.

Speaking of which, Posey can't guard Garnett or Glen Davis (who I REALLY want to see in Pacers colors next season). Also, he's not the 3-point assassin he used to be. He's shooting it inefficiently this season, under 1 of every 3. That is awful.

Our point guards could've played a little better today.

Hibbert had a great game considering. And we were doing well with Foster and Hansbrough at the 4 spot. We actually got offensive rebounds. And then it all stopped in the 4th, when O'Brien put in the crappy team that is neither the best offensive or defensive squad we can have out there.

This is not me looking at +/-, just what I see. We play better when we have an actual PF playing PF.

The thing is every one of his shots are wide open. If they were contested he might have an excuse, but they ain't.

False, we dont have an actual power forward on the roster.

Just because the Pacers do not have a star at PF does not mean they do not have a PF.. Both Foster and Hansbrough are PFs in that they are physical and rebound the ball. Eventually I think Tyler can become more of a threat on pick n rolls / pick n pops like Davis was today but for now in this offense he isnt that involved.

Anyways.. During the game I heard that JOB was not happy with McRoberts and his recent poor rebounding games. I also noticed that McRoberts was on the bench in the first half but never returned in the second half.

If JOB wanted to play Posey in the 4th he should have went used something like 12:00 - 8:00 Posey -> 8:00 - ~4:00 Foster / Tyler -> ~4:00 - End Game Posey. Instead of just playing Posey for all 12 minutes.

I think being old also factors into Posey not having the gas to go that long into the 4th.

Watched the game again and you could really tell that KG did not like how Tyler was D'n him up. He got very chippy but Tyler paid him no-nevermind and just kept playing.

So many reckless turnovers too.. Both sides had them. But Granger having yet another poor game did the Pacers in.. Thats becoming a theme recently.
