Grant Hill Appreciation Thread

Post#1 » by bigfoot » Mon Dec 20, 2010 2:51 am

Grant would be an automatic HOF induction if it wasn't for his injuries. He was a monster his first six years ... think Kobe, LeBron, and Jordan. All those Hill haters take notice.

38 years old
Shuts down Durant for most of the game
30 pts 11 rbds 2 asts, 1blk
Consumate team player

Crazy talk about showing this guy the door or getting him to retire

No doubt. Definitely on top of the "I wish he wasn't injured list". Damn you Detroit management!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
He was a point forward who was all Lebron like. The only difference between him and Lebron at the time was he had the basketball IQ and the class.

He was never the freak athlete or physical specimen that lebron is but he was great in his own way, it really is a shame that he and penny never got to reach their full potential due to injuries.

He should be an All-Star this season. The numbers show him to be a top 4 SF in the West.

Yeah a lot of Magic fans blame him for their management signing him while he was injured and then not retiring.

Yeah, i have seen a few myself. Most are disgruntled Magic fans. When i posted Nash/Hill trades on the trade board, i couldnt believe some of the nasty responses. They act like Hill injured himself on purpose, then when he got healthy took the first flight to Phoenix.

Most of the same people were also calling VC "Wince" Carter. Injurys happen all the time. Not the players fault (unless they were riding a moped in the offseason).

My thoughts exactly
SHAZAM!

Suns traded Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder and 4 1st round picks and a swap so some Vegas Bookies would like us.

Hill is also one of the NBA's good guys. He is very smart, very talented, and makes a great future statesman of some sort. No wonder Obama loves him.

Suns better re-sign him to another 2-3 years. I'd be happy with him at starting SF til he is 41 years old...

Lets all not forget... Grant Hill is a very handsome man.

You're all thinking it.... well I'm stating it. :-)

All in none homo way... not that there's anything wrong with that.... but I'm just saying... in addition to all his other characteristics.... he is handsome.
