Will u guys do Maxiell + 2011 ast round pick for Thabeet?

Maxiell is a serviceable backup big, undersized yes but he is willing to be benched and do all these dirty works

Maxiell also has a $5mil expiring in 2012

As how the Pistons are progressing, it's almost a guranteed lottery pick too.

So Maxiell + 1st makes any sense?

I dun think Maxiell is that good but he $5mil expiring in 2012 is kinda attractive i guess, and Maxiell is like a solid backup i think

How about Detroit's early 2nd round pick + Maxiell?? Still attractive?

I would love to find a way to get Greg Munroe to Memphis. But Maxiel and the Pistons unprotected 1st round pick for Thabeet is tough to turn down.

Would depends on the terms of the protection (something like 2011 top 5, 2011 top 2, 2012 1st, 2013 unprotected) then yeah.

Thabeet is technically an expiring deal next season as well, so that point is pretty much moot.

as a pistons fan... i strongly object to any trade that would net us thabeet, i check his stats every night. he is awful. I would much rather develop monroe and pick any player in the 2011 draft lottery or trade down on draft day for a player and a top 20 pick

thabeet = garbage

The Presence cannot be judged by stats. 8-)

As a piston fan, not only would I much rather have Maxiell than a very raw player in Thabeet, but there is no way i'd be in favor of a trade that involved our 1st round pick. With the way this season is turning out, it will probably be a top 5 pick. I'll take a top 5 pick, heck a top 10 pick in any draft over a raw unproven player.

I dunno - I think at that point, for the Grizz, it would be more of a lateral move. Kinda "Meh".
