One of my favorite players, followed him when he went to the Raptors, he came into camp out of shape, but the man still has it. I watched around 40 Raps game that season, and the man was misused so badly it was not even funny. When he had the ball in his hand, and was allowed to do his thing, Turk flourished. All Raptor fans knew that he was the Raptors best play maker, but the coach still refused to use him in the role that made him so successful in Orlando.

Turk was pretty much used as a spot up shooter in Toronto AND Phoenix. Yeah he came into camp out of shape, but you could see the talent that made him so successful in Orlando. Turk even publicly stated that he was being misused, and many Raptors fans agreed, but being as arrogant as they are, they wont admit it. Turkoglu is still the same player who got that big contract, but the role both Phoenix and Toronto threw him in... It was obvious that he wouldn't mesh in with their offenses.

Just curious, Could these trades have been made before the season?

I think our willingness to make the deal had a lot to do with how well Jrich has played so far this year.

Yeah the whole losing 6 out of 7 thing certainly didn't hurt the cause.

ATLANTA – The Orlando Magic’s starting lineup Monday night against the Atlanta Hawks – and likely for the foreseeable future – will feature something old (Dwight Howard, Jameer Nelson and Brandon Bass), something new (Jason Richardson) and a player familiar wearing Magic blue (Hedo Turkoglu).

Rashard Lewis in doubt for Monday

Rashard Lewis doesn't know if he's playing for the Wizards on Monday.
He won't be able to go through his pre-game routine and doesn't seem in a hurry to make his debut. If you own him, watch for updates, but as of now it appears he's leaning towards not playing. Dec. 20 - 5:28 pm et

Smells like he's destined to be bought out

I have been reading the pages but a bit late on posting.

Both trade are awesome, don't know how anyone can complain!

Only valid complaint could be Gortat but we all knew he was leaving sooner or later, besides was he really doing much here? 10-15 minutes a game can be replaced people :)

TURK TURK TURK !!!

So what's the return policy on NBA trades. If it's 30 day, money back like a department store we can undo this nightmare and get back to winning.
