He's a good goalie, lost his job last year when he got hurt and Backstrom just took off.
He's a very capable #1

Zach hammil was a fine pick in my oppion. Just wish Chia would have traded down and took him.
NEW HOT RUMOR, came up before the draft began. Sportcentre was talking about how Bruins and Stars are talking turco. I would love to have him as our goalie.
Fernandez for axelson and a 2nd is still being discussed from what I hear.

Who would Boston send to Dallas?

I know what you're thinking. We're in the middle of a city, what's a hawk doing there?

I didnt see this live, so I really dont know. I read it on a bruins rumor site. This site gets you up to date with all b's rumors.
Stars-Bruins Talking
SportsCentre in Canada is reporting the B's and Stars are talking about a potential deal. Marty Turco could become Boston-Bound.
Maye Murray and Toivenon for Turco? Who knows though.
Toivenens name has been taken off the bruins roster though, so thats an interesting nugget

Tim, congrats on getting espo that late.

I really don't think Murray and Toivonen would be enough to get Turco though. He's one of the best goalies in the game. But if they pull that off, that would be a helluva trade for Boston. I like the Fernandez trade for them as well.
That is an interesting fact that Toivonen is off the roster? Maybe Boston has made a trade involving him and it just hasn't been announced.
I can't believe the Pens got Espo. My god. Him and Sid on the same line in a few years is looking mighty scary for the league. In his interview with TSN, it seems as if he wants to prove the league wrong about him. I can't wait to see him in a Pens uniform. I'm not expecting him to make the team this season, but I said the same with Staal last season. Having Crosby, Malkin and Staal should help him have a great chance of making the team though because this will take any pressure off of him.
I think the Pens should trade as high up in the 2nd round as possible and try and go for Brett MacLean.

I got to tell you, I like where the pens are goin. I wish they would have moved to hartford, so I could see more of them. But thats wishful thinking.
As for turco, muzz and toivy would be the starters. I agree it would take alot more to get him. Maybe some draft picks.
I do expect murray to get dealt soon for a goalie though, Hopefully day 2 of the draft. I am still somewhat new to the NHL entry draft, how many deals go down on day 2?

I actually like a trade with Minnesota and Boston with Boston getting Fernandez. If Boston were to give up Axelsson and a pick, that would be a good trade for Boston. I think they would have to give up to much to get Turco.
Fernandez is a capable #1 starter. He had some good seasons with Minnesota.
I don't remember too many 2nd day draft trades. But again, there has been a lot of buzz going around this season about trades so I think there will be a few tomorrow. I don't think there were any during the draft because the GM's were placing their time about who to draft.
Again, the GM's may just wait until after the draft and before free agency starts to get some deals done.
