Yea, I'm sure the Nets can assemble a massive trade that will net them both Melo and players as good as Amare and Felton and win 12 out of 13 games without giving up every valuable piece they have on that valueless team.

People need to start panicking when journalists start operating in reality.

Denver probably wouldn't trade Anthony right before Christmas, since he has a family and what-not. So he'll probably be traded in two weeks, at the earliest.

Denver is hillarious. Now they "announce" that they want to see Melo with a full cast. They are so exposed. Melo has them cornered and they are wasting time to play ball with the Knicks. They are leading the Nets on to give the media the idea theres other options. If the Nets had a shot it would be done already. Nets are giving more than value.

If the deal is the way they suggest, how in the hell can Nets add more talent which the article claims Melo requests in order to sign extension?

They can maybe use Vujacic's contract and their other picks to get another good player from someone else or Travis Outlaw and add picks. They have other contracts they can trade and with their picks they have some flexibility to get other role players that maybe fit better.

I'd assume they would be taking on good players that have bad contracts.

That's soooo weird. Melo to NJ talks are advancing as they look to see what the full cast looks like in Denver. Well this is ♪♫ Aaawwwwkward ♫♪

I just don't understand why someone would want to go to a much worse team in New Jersey when you actually have a pretty good one in Denver.

The most important thing to take from Wojina's article is Denver and New York has increased talks over the past few weeks.
