Well that was incredibly frustrating.
Thriving on mediocrity since '89.

I'm starting to doubt that when it is a good team, it wont be in Minnesota anymore.

Now that I don't buy. They aren't going anywhere. I feel confident in that much.

I refuse to call them the Timberwolves until they stop brining people back to life and start winning. Wednesday we are going to bring Al Jefferson's career back from the dead and he is going to wind up taking Love's spot in the All-Star game. Watch it happen.

Let's beat some good teams to gain confidence, and lose games to our lottery competitors.

I forgot the game was here in L.A. tonight, I got home and checked the interwebz and I was like "noooo!" but then I saw Beas wasn't hitting 'em and I was like "shyyyt" and then I saw they were down twenty and I was like "hell noooo!" and then I was Ryan Gomes had 22pts & 10 reb and I was like "daaaamn" and that's my story.

Last night was a tough game to watch. With our horrid defense we can't afford to let teams house us on the glass, but that's what happened. No lengthy bigs in the middle to stop the 10 Eric Gordon layups didn't help either. I can swallow the loss, I'm just starting to get worried about this team. The body language of the team last night suggested to me they were losing faith that they could compete in this league. The players who swore we'd win 30+ games this year are all eating crow. It's going to take a BIG spark for this team to turn things around.

Things needed:

1. Decide to buy into TEAM defense.
2. Quit letting the refs be an excuse for poor play.
3. Better shot selection
4. Wes better man up and quit letting people walk all over him. No more being timid, get aggressive.
5-a lot (more things that I don't care enough to type out)

We're in dire straights right here, we need some confidence builders. I hope this team can pull out of the rut they're in, but it's all on them. Get it done Wolfies.

It was a really bad game. I predicted that Blake would force fouls. Kevin Love was out of rhythm early in the game. But the coaching was awful... There was the moment that i saw Koufos following Blake Griffin on the high post while Love was matching up De Andre Jordan. That left the paint open. Actually the paint was open all night long. How do you think a 7 footer can follow an explosive player like Griffin? Do you want to protect Love against fouls? OK... Fair. Do not throw Koufos on Griffin.

Really bad choices on both ends of the floor.

The worst though i believe was the taking care of the ball. During the 3rd quarter on mistake after another and no cuts inside the basket.

We are so so bad defensively. Even the Suns and Warriors teams that didn't care about defensive didn't give up this many lay ups and wide open threes. When Darko is in the game we still give up open threes but he at least clogs the lane a bit. NO ONE on this team can guard on the perimeter therefore we have to constantly help and any team that moves the ball will get a wide open shot. I

Is it possible that one of Love/Beas has to go because we can't have both of our forwards be absolutely trash on the defensive end?

So you want Kevin Love, already in foul trouble, to guard Griffin? It's pick your poison at that point. Beasley did the worst job on Griffin. It's not Rambis' fault that the roster doesn't have healthy front court players to match up with him.

Guys weren't rotating to stop dribble penetration. When they rotate you'll see those open three's, that you really can't do much about. However, when they don't rotate, like Koufos and Love last night, you'll see a layup line, which is exactly what Eric Gordon and Ryan Gomes did to us last night.

This looked like a young team at the end of a 6 game road trip. That was brutal.

I believe Kevin Love is smart to have foul control. Actually his 3rd foul was only in the mind of the referee. Guarding Blake on the high post kith Koufos was wrong. You can live if Blake makes that shot but you may suffer if he starts dunking and Gordon finds an open lane. They should either rotate or switch every time Blake was going outside.

Beasley was awful on defense but Blake is Blake. He is something special
