When Earl Clark plays longer than 20 minutes in a game you completed step one of ten.
When Earl Clark makes a teams rotation you have completed step two of ten.
When Earl Clark posts 5 career double doubles he has now entered Steve Hunter territory
Congrats - Stephen Hunter territory is step three of ten... Long Ways to Go.

Step 7 is something like completing a full season averaging double digit points and more than 6 rebounds and 3 assists. Congrats he is now Channing Frye.

Step 10 is a he makes an all defensive team for all of his skill and effort that is causing you to soil your drawers in admiration. Chill dude. We get it. You have a royal hard on for EC. Dont let a man crush cloud your judgement. He is what he is. Long and athletic with the basket ball IQ of a three year old.

It's not a thread, it's a post and I made it yesterday, before Clark ever set foot on the court for the Magic.

Even more premature. My apologies for the lack of forum terminology demonstrated. Let me repost more clearly.

I am happy for Clark that SVG seems happy to give him minutes. While in Phoenix, Gentry didnt use him at all, or unless we were 30 points up. SVG used Clark during a close game against the best team in the league, over players such as Malik Allen and Quentin Richardson.

That must do wonder's to Earl Clark's confidence. I have always been an avid supporter of Earl Clark, and for his sake, I am happy he is on Orlando, where he seems to be given more playing time, which he deserved in Phoenix. As a Suns fan, I am sad we let a player with his potential go as part of a "throw in."

The Suns wil live to regret this day.

Over in a thread about Earl Clark which I posted, Orlando fans seem to be liking him so far.

E. Clark - final stats:
Rebounds = 0
Assists = 1
Points = 6
Blocks = 0
Steals = 0
Turnovers = 1

He is who we thought he was and (I'm glad) we let him off the hook! :wink:

Watch the Fk;ng game got damn moron!!!!!!!!! Geez, you can't look at a stat line and tell how a player played?? What are you 8 yrs old?

How bout this Dirk 17 pts 5 rebs...I wonder why? Oh, that's right he was deferring because of Clark's defense, so they tried to get switches to free Dirk up because his ISO didn't work against Clark.

I wish Clark to do well, but not to spite our FO, nor to feather a cap with an 'I told you so' plume.

Apparently in only 12 minutes, Earl Clark managed to contain Dirk to only 17 points during the entire game. His mere presence on the bench had Dirk too rattled to shoot :roll:

Anyways, I always felt like Clark had a lot of potential but you can't change the fact he is dumb as hell. Hope he does well for Orlando, but I don't see myself losing any sleep over him leaving.

magic board seems to be loving the guy, as its already been said, he just might become thier dudley, a throw in that turns out to be a steal, regardless a bigger sample size is needed before any final judgement

And his defense against Dirk was great. See Dirk passing the ball away both times?
Why couldn't we play him more?

Because you said it, we are effin STUPID!!! On the bench all of that time but we sure gave Goran his shot didn't we?? Over and over again and I still don't think he is that good. Ridiculous!!!

Clark is going to do his thing no matter why we want him to do it. And I will tell you "I told you so," so maybe the next time you'll listen, but stubborn people who can't see normally don't. I am sure we will come across another young talent again and our fan base will be roaring to get rid of him.......

I am not losing sleep over him at all, I expected us to lose him once we didn't pick up his team option.....I was done that day, but it would be nice to watch our team lose (if that may be the case), and still watch some nice young talent develope.

AGAIN SEE THE TAMPA BAY BUCCANEERS!!!!!! Cardinal fans should understand that, you guys have nothing to look foward to, nothing. Sometime you got to let players go (Nash) and move on!!
