I would trade AK for Iggy. I'd start D.Will, Iggy, Miles, Jefferson and a big (like Elson or Fess), and I'd bring Millsap in as the first player off the bench. The Jazz aren't getting enough at SG with Raja and Price and should make a move there. The front court of AJ and Millsap is a bit undersized against great teams. They're also playing D.Will some minutes at SG, when D.Will should really be getting more rest.

An alternative would be to move AK for Wallace and start Miles at the SG position.

1 DWill
2 Iggy
3 Miles
4 Al Jeff.
5 Elson/Fess
6 Millsap

---or---

1 DWill
2 Miles
3 Wallace
4 Al Jeff.
5 Elson/Fess
6 Millsap

AK is playing pretty well, but moving him seems like the key to improving the team. I'm not sure if the Jazz could get much for Okur right now.

How about AK, Hayward, Fes and CJ for Nash and fillers?

Hey, it could happen....

Wonder if the Magic would be interested in getting Memo or Fes. Wonder who they are willing to part with....I would love to do a Memo and Bass swap. :D

Straight-up thug and awful locker room presence.

You know, you're right; I'll retract the second half of that. A good percentage of his teammates have said they like him. The coaches have liked him too. However, his comportment on the court is terrible and his laundry list of off-the-court troubles leave a lot to be desired.

The more I think about this, if the Jazz can land Iguodala for AK, they should do it.

Given the current makeup of the team and its salary commitments, a trade is the most likely way to add a quality player. The only real trade chip the Jazz have is AK.

Iguodala would give the Jazz a true perimeter defender, not just a guy coasting on his past-reputation as a defender. He's not a fantastic shooter, but he's better than CJ or AK. He has a nice all-around game, routinely averaging over 5 rebounds and 5 assists per game, along with a steal or two.

His contract is a bit much, and it's a bit of a risk with the new CBA, but in all likelihood contracts will get scaled down and revenue sharing will go up. It's still a risk, but I think one well worth taking.
