This family and everything about this family is TRASH. The Armenians want no part of this family or what they have to offer. Infact they were denied enterance into Armenia when they decided to go there.

I don't think Kobe had the time or thought it was necessary to step to Kim or Klohe and ask their opinion on the subject.
I mean how many Jews in Los Angeles own and drive BMW, Mercedes, and Jettas, all of which were the companies behind the German war machine of WWII.
Funny how some people on here are comparing some Jews actions and feelings towards Germany, but that is really not comparable.
For starters Germany HAS acknowledged the Holocaust, Yet the Turks and the US and other countries has never acknowledged or recognized the Armenian genocide.
On top of it Germany has paid reparations for the surviving victims. The Turks havent and they never will. Why pay when they don't even recognize it or acknowledge any wrong doings?
War crimes trials were held against the Nazis right after the end of WW2 and even to this day they are still conducting invetigations and some have even been executed.
Have the Turks ever been taken to any court. If the Jews did not have these things occur after the Holocaust, I highly doubt that they would have "gotten over it" today.
Does Armenia or Armenians enjoy the same level of aid as Israel either economically, militarily or politically from the world, especially by the West, and keep in mind as most of you know Im a veteran soldier that have served this great nation of mine for 4 years.
In my opinion, the simple act of recognition and acknowledgment, even if there is no reparations will soothe and help heal the open scab of Armenians' hatred towards Turks, but asking for Armenians to "get over it" in this current state is really sad patethic and unjust.

Today, I work for the children of these oppressors and so does Kobe. So does LeBron. This is a bit overboard. I am not saying what happened to the Africans, Jews, or the Armenians should be excused. However, it should be motivation to move on. Educate the masses to make sure it never happens again.
Props on your kind deeds, No matter what happpens in this world we all have to answer for our actions to a higher power and for me that ALL MIGHTY GOD, but keep reread my first post to you as well as others and then you will understand my point as well as others that are expressing their frustrations with Kobe, and the US government as well as every other country that is refusing to recognize the Armenian Genocide.
Also.
A buddy of mine posted this and take it for what its worth. If not then it is what it is.
The aggravation with Kobe accepting endorsement from Turkish Airlines has a lot to do with the sensitive subject of mass murder and genocide. Yes, I'm pretty sure Kobe mostly cares about making even more money for himself, and possibly does not care much about politics, but there is a bigger message here than simply making Kobe richer... Same as with any other ethnic group or nationality involved in a similar sensitive subject, people will obviously want to voice their concerns... and I would love to hear ANY civilized arguments or responses.
The connection? Turkish Airlines, Turkey's national airline, is headquartered at Atatürk International Airport... THE AIRPORT IS BASICALLY A MONUMENT TO THE PERSON LARGELY RESPONSIBLE FOR THE FIRST GENOCIDES OF MODERN HISTORY (Mustafa Kemal Atatürk). To many, the name 'Atatürk' alone summons strong feelings about Turkey's mass violations of the most basic of human rights, the mass murder of over 1.5 million. Atatürk is historically known as a major conspirator of the first genocide of modern history, namely the Genocide of millions of Armenians, as well as the Greeks, in the early part of the 20th Century.
So to reiterate, all Kobe has really done is pour salt on a gaping wound, and the true problem lies in the Turkish government's proactive policies of complete denial for any past responsibility, or accountability for the mass murder of millions of human beings. It has been historically documented that the Turkey's lack of accountability inspired the Jewish Holocaust, and possibly other Genocides which have followed. ("Who after all speaks today of the annihilation of the Armenians?" - Adolf Hitler, August 22, 1939) .... MILLIONS OF PEOPLE LIKE MYSELF WILL SPEAK OF IT, until there is some accountability and closure... In conclusion, those who continue to reject undeniable historical and archeological facts of the atrocities that took place (as well as those who are "global ambassador" to their national airlines, i.e Kobe) are supporting the perpetrators of past crimes and mass murder, and encouraging future perpetrators that follow, weather it is deliberate or just an ignorant choice influenced by greed or other biases.
This is my own personal point of view, if anyone has anything to argue or contribute, I would love to hear some civilized responses.
