Solid first half, great 3rd and then collapse at the end of the 4th. Nobody wanted to take the shot. No Melo, no offense when needed most....Damn

Eh.....I don't think it was the refs this time.

Yeah well the most confusing part is where Billups fits in. He's a team captain along with Melo and Kenyon but how does it break down like that at the end of the game.

I'm not sure how he's gonna do it but I would like to see more leadership from Billups somehow in some form. I know the answer probably isn't easy but he's got a ring to prove he can lead.

I guess the thing to know is how much can each of these guys (sans Melo) is able to contribute. That is kind of a fuzzy number right now.

What's the one thing that sets the best apart from the rest? Consistency.

'cuse me?

Spurs: 24 free throws

Nuggets: 29 free throws

Spurs: 19 fouls

Nuggets: 18 fouls

Does blind hatred make people imagine things?

 poor execution against the zone and bad rotations down the stretch did the Nuggets in tonight. It's pretty much an expected thing on the road with this team.

I did find it funny that the officially completely missed that Chauncey was fouled from behind the 3 point line at one point and only gave him 2 shots. and he was clearly behind the line, altitude even replayed it. I just don't get how they miss stuff like that. That said, we fell apart down the stretch... frustrating game.

The Nuggets fans posting after you, actually made a good argument. You don't. Posting what came from the box score proves nothing. One team can have more foul shots, and still have been shafted by the refs. The box score doesn't show how many fouls weren't called.

Not claiming the refs helped tonight, just pointing out, what should be obvious.

Yeah it would be nothing but excuses to say refs had a hand in this one. The worst you could say is the spillage over from the last game's last call didn't help...but still that's excuses.

HOWEVER the point that one team may have deserved 35 fouls and the other team only worked for 20 fouls can always be made. That does happen a lot, not just to this team. It is very noticeable when it's not just hack-a-shaq it's hack-a-nuggets and no fouls called.

Hack-a-nugget is the new hack-a-shaq.
