Sullinger is so fun to watch. Really a good young player with tremendous upside.

Agreed ohara. His style of play is fun and I really like his demeanor as well. His demeanor reminds me of Chris Bosh - which is a good thing.
I keep reading that Sullinger has a jump shot, but I have yet to see him take a single jump shot all season, and I have seen him play 6 games now. He REALLY has to show he has a 15 footer IMO.

What is really eating at me is the dilemma we may face if we stay Lottery bound. Sullinger is 6'9 and 260 lbs. Tremendous young PF who as a FR is scoring 17.5 pts and grabbing 10.1 reb per game. Seems to play with a great intensity and also a respectable BBIQ. But that is the one position we are set at right now with Diaw and TT. If we dont make any trades, then I cannot see spending a Lottery pick on a position already 2 deep. But if he is there and we have the pick, how do you let him pass by? This would all be moot if we end up trading Diaw over the next few weeks. Because no matter how much money we are paying TT, I would still draft Sullinger as long as either Diaw or TT were gone.

Well to be honest that is why we need to draft either a SG, and trade away Jax to get a C and a PG (such as the Mayo-Thabeet Deal) and pick up Alec Burks, he is a monster and could one day lead the league in points. Look into this guy, he was the 2009 Gatorade Player of the Year, he was lastone of last highest scoring freshmen, he has made Colorado a competitive team, and he can play well on all 3 levels of offense (long, med, close). He is 6'6 so he is tall enough to defend, and he plays the game of basketball with good efficiency. He would be a good grab for us.... A great grab at 10 actually, and yet he should be available there because he plays for a less known team. Even if we were to have the first pick of the draft he would still be in the discussion..... He sort of reminds me of TWill..... Great player, outstanding prospect....

I'd play Sullinger in front of both Boris and T2 - not straight away obviously, but I don't think it would take long (maybe a season or so?).
With that in mind, I would draft Sullinger in a nano second, look to trade Boris and keep T2 as 6th man getting close to 30mpg between the 4 and 5 spots - or I would look to trade T2 as well.
Either way, Sullinger >>>>>>>>> Boris and T2 IMO.
If Sullinger's college game can transfer successfully to the NBA then he is the type of player you could build around IMO.

Re: 2010/11 NCAA Game Thread/Prospects Watch
I would love to get Sullinger, as recently upon watching him I have seen how he leads his team and such, however he is looking like a top 3 pick, I would love to see us trade up to grab him though, because he can play SF-C, reminds me of a better Taj Gibson (on D), and hell Tim Duncan on O...
Alec Burks really isnt a highlight reel player, rather he is a efficient player, this is not to say that he isnt athletic, rather that he isnt gonna make any top 10 plays....
If you want highlight reel players in good positions I suggest that we look at players like Josh Selby, Derrick Williams, Perry Jones, Sullinger (sort of), and Travis Leslie (who we could grab in the second round XD)....
Anyways heres some insane videos of other players
Travis Leslie

Re: 2010/11 NCAA Game Thread/Prospects Watch
Another Guy to watch is Oaklands Kieth Benson, at 6-11, 230lbs he is one of the most dominant rebounders and blockers in the country,
He is averaging 17.4 ppg, 10.4 rpg, and 3.5 bpg.... Meaning that yes he is outplaying my other man Aaric Murray, and against a tougher schedule...

Guess I picked a good game to watch Burks.
At half time he has 20pts on 8-12 shooting scoring in a variety of ways!!

Has anybody been watching JaJaun Johnson from Purdue. It seems like he's been putting up career numbers. He's a PF/Center, and while I haven't seen a full game of his, I'm liking what I see from his highlights.

We will never get to see him until the Draft combines get going, but I am very intrigued by Enes Kanter. 18 years old from Switzerland. If he had been eligible to play at KY, would likely be at the top of the Board #1. 6'10 and 255 Center. Long arms make up for the couple inches he lacks in size. Has great moves around the basket, and has range to the 3 pt line. Smart player from what I have read. But none of us can see him for now.
Right now, Chad Ford has him at the #4 pick even without him playing this season. I dont expect us to be that bad. But if we dont make the playoffs and had some Lottery Luck, might just get lucky. I just dont see him falling to the end of the Lottery, and I think we are either a #7-#8 seed, or at the end of the Lottery.

Re: 2010/11 NCAA Game Thread/Prospects Watch
JuJuan Johnson is a BEAST... Quite frankly he will become a great NBA player who will start for years, he is a monster in the post both on offense and defense, especially on D where he is soooo underated (he is much better then even sullinger on D in the post, but he isnt as good at rebounding)... if the Cats were to grab him it would be a good day...
Kemba Walker is the most underated player I have ever seen, he makes the big shots, has highlight plays, is agile, and can pass the ball decently enough... He will easily be the POY and is not a system player, he has been efficient and can hold his own on defense (better then DJ by far).
Marcus Jordan is also very underatted, after leading UCF to a 14-0 record I would expect that he would get more attention, however he really hasn't, I believe that he should stay in for 1 or 2 more years like his father did (and by the end of his stay he will be a lottery pick) he plays intense defense and plays with the heart of a champion, his stats are similar to his fathers in college despite his very different approach to the game..... I like him...

Sounds a lot more like Brook Lopez than Bargs. Draftnet compares him to Al Horford. The knees thing is a little worrisome, but you have to trust your team doctors to give him a thorough exam, review MRI's etc.. to be sure he is worth the take. Born in Switzerland, now hailing from Turkey. Still, if healthy, not sure Charlotte would pass on a Center like him. Might be out "make up for Lopez" pick.
From the mocks I have found, every one has him going as high as #2 and none lower than #7. Most have him about #4.
