Same. Better passer than Elway, but he just had no supporting cast

Marino is pretty overrated in my book. If I needed to win a game I'd much rather have Elway.

Marino is clearly better. Elway didn't have any rings either until one of the greatest RBs ever (granted for a brief period) carried his old sorry ass there.

Elway didnt get carried, he was a pro bowler both years, and put up better numbers during the playoffs than someone like rothlisberger in 05 or Manning in 06 during his runs. Take your head out of your ass. Elway was the team captain and leader of that team. They dont win without TD and they dont win without Elway, period.

Marino would of never been able to succeed with a talent running back anyways, he was too worried about padding his stats.

I'd take Elway, I think Marino is like this generations Philip Rivers (so far), although he leads his team to winning records with great stats, he can't do anything in the play-offs except when he's against Colts.
