Hey Lebron, should the cavs, hornets, wizards, clippers, and kings all be removed too? How about the heat get removed since they will never win a championship.

Wow, I really cant think of what to say. I have a hard time believing this is real. Is he really that stupid? Does he not understand what the term "competition" means? If he thinks there isnt enough talent to fill every team in the NBA maybe he should go play in Europe.

You know what would make the league more entertaining and competitive Lebron?

If you 3 British cigarettes didn't almost circumvent the cap and sign together in a city that couldn't even sell out when they were winning the Finals...

What a clown.

None of the Hofer's and past stars respect this clown and most of the current players and fans despise him and it's for good reason.

I never liked this lunch box, even when we were pining for him to come here. He's the type of tool shed that makes Kobe look like a genuinely good guy.

Oh man it's easy to hate him.

Hey LeBron, all these past "Superteams" were formed because the teams all drafted the players. They weren't assembled in some giant Free Agent package meant to lessen the competition on a night-to-night basis.

The thing about the draft was, most guys showed some humility and stuck with the teams that drafted them.

I'm really looking forward to the day the Miami Mild get eliminated from the playoff's. I never thought I'd EVER root for a Boston team to win anything, but if they see the heat in the playoff's, no question I'll be rooting for them big time.

The sad thing for me is that I really did like Lebron before all of this happened. He's one of the greatest players I've ever seen, and I wanted him to be the guy THAT guy. The superstar that transcended the league and all basketball fans loved.

The more I think about that stupid decision show, the angrier I get.

I think he could have talked about contraction without making any specific mention of players/teams. Its just a real stupid thing to do and I'm sure that in his delusional world he thinks he's done well in doing so.

I heard jay z was pissed that LeBron didn't tell him earlier that he was going to the Heat. JayZ found out the same time we found out. He has done so much for the kid and now he just throws our (and JayZ's) team under under the bus? The more I listen to or hear about him the more I dislike him. He's gone from being such a likable player to the biggest jerk in the league. People can respect Kobe even though they don't like his game. However, it is much worse to lose respect than to be liked. Right now LeBron is losing everyone's respect as a player and more so as a person.

First of, the title is incorrect. Lebron didn't say that the Nets should be removed from the league. And quite frankly, from a product standpoint, what he said isn't necessarily false. The league would be better off if it had less teams. But one or two teams wouldn't make a difference. It will need to be, IMO, at least eight teams, to really make an impact....which means it will never happen.

The mistake in what he said however, isn't in about the comment regarding contraction. It is that he was stupid enough to use Devin Harris and Brook Lopez as examples.

Uh...hello? Lebron had a chance to allow Harris and Brook to play in a successful team. All he had to do is sign on the dotted line...

Hell, had Lebron signed here, we could be talking about a core of Lebron, Melo, and Brook by now.

Not really.. We're not even the worst team in the east, let alone the league. It's also unfair to bash this team just because we've been struggling as of late, since we did go to the finals twice in the last ten years. There are PLENTY of teams that haven't done as much as we have in the 2000's. Charlotte, Washington, Knicks, Toronto, Milwaukee, Minnesota, Golden State, Clippers, Memphis and New Orleans all come to mind.

I'm looking for the leauge to put a gag order on this kid...Depsite maybe 10 or 11 teams being in transition, dealing with injuries and or buying time to build for the future...about a 1/3 of the league will always have these issues...I still think the bottom 1/3 of the league is very competitve...check back in a 2 years LBJ...
