Where was the thread bemoaning Clark's loss when the team didn't pick up his option? He wasn't going to be with the Suns beyond this year regardless so his inclusion in the trade had no bearing on the teams future.

Yeah the EC part of the trade was honestly win win. We were never gonna integrate him as you said, but he does have the potential to be a valuable role player eventually. So we win because we cut the dead weight, ORL wins because they get essentially "more of EC" than we had and EC wins because he may get a better chance there.

Now there's always a chance that ORL was just experimenting and that they don't have many minutes for him.

But agreed that it was no loss for us at the same time as being a gain for them.

As far as the trade is concern, it was a win win for both teams, period. As long as we utilize Gortat, VC and Pietrus correctly. Like one poster says, Gortat is getting paid too much to be a back up. Start the dude at the 5 and Lopez at the 4 and see how it goes.

Pietrus did drive the ball once and looke d good doing it. I was delightfully surprised. Pietrus showed me some potential, he has got to find his shot though.

VC...We will see.

I would have given all of that up for Clark, but If i didn't have to I wouldn't have.... But I am done with Clark, as is Amare, JJ, LB and any other non Suns' players!!!

Just a correction. I don't know if you missed it but he played well, Very well. Stan Said he impressed him. In fact he looked the most comfortable of all our new guys.

What correction? I know he played well, I watched the game against Dallas. I was responding to someone else's opinion on his play in Phoenix.
