Bulls offense didn't execute down the stretch, the Knicks did, thus they won.

Bulls are, when healthy, probably a little better than NY but without Noah and on NY's floor, you can't expect much.

The worse player of the game: the third man who has to protect the rim on the high pick and roll. Was late, committed numerous fouls and the Knicks got whatever they wanted on that play.

Bulls also didn't defend the three point line well.

Offensive rebounds weren't lucky. We are the better rebounding team.

Problems were taking care of the ball and not guarding the 3 point line and pick and roll defense.

The bottom line is that this current Bulls team is in desperate need of scoring. Our front-office (and fanbase to an extent) is seemingly so risk-averse though, that they'd prefer to remain a solid 45-50 win team that won't sniff a championship at the risk of having someone like J.R. Smith on the team.

A lot of our guys didn't play that well and you still got your ass whooped. All that Knicks bashing not looking so good now is it?

And to whoever said he hoped the knicks plane crashes, go **** yourself.

A better idea would be getting your trolling behind back to the Knicks board.

Rose didn't need to shoot 28 times, he had some bad ones, but he probably did have to shoot 25 times.

It's the wrong idea if people expect him to routinely succeed at this workload level. His TS% has been so low because he can't succeed near that volume of shots.

We definitely need one more weapon. Boozer isn't enough and this was predictable based on how bad the offense was last year. Boozer alone doesn't take you from 27 to top 10 offense. When Deng has a vanishing first half like he did, Rose is going to have to shoot a ton and the team becomes easy to defend.

Problems are wider than one player - other than the Bogans issue, which obviously needs correction as a stand alone problem.

Bull fans may be loath to admit this but:

Rose - 25pts, 12/28 shooting, 8 assists, 8 TOs, 6 STLs.
Felton - 20 pts, 9/18 shooting, 10 assists, 7 TOs, 5 STLs.

There is no question that rose is an all star PG, but NY's pickup of Felton as a UFA for 7 million a season has made that team and may very well be the FO move of the off season. And the thing about Felton is he's done it all year with NY. What Charlotte was thinking in letting that guy go for nothing is beyond me.

BTW, it may not be a popular opinion but the Bulls and Knicks are closer together than many here seem to want to believe.

We had Derrick Rose, they didn't.

In the month of December, our starting SG is averaging 2.6 SHOTS per game. Unless you're playing LOCKDOWN defense, that is inexcusable.

When we were doing the threads about the Bulls soft schedule end of Dec/ January I felt the Bulls would lose this game. Doesn't matter, I'm pissed about it anyway. Thibs needs to get medieval on these guys when they miss free throws. No problem with the officiating even though they missed quite a few calls. You go 8 minutes in the 4th quarter without a bucket you shouldn't expect the refs to do you any favors.

No killer instinct
No Unicorn
No idea why the hell we let these guys drain threes whenever they want

Okay, done venting. See yas tomorrow

55% free throw shooting, abominable officiating, 21 turnovers, and 8+ minutes without a score in the fourth; merry Christmas Bulls fans.

I imagine people will absolve Derrick because he's Derrick, he made some spectacular plays, and he filled up the box score. He had a pretty dreadful game though: 7 turnovers and dreadful efficiency, with the free throws remaining a major weakness. We count on Derrick to make something happen when the offense is struggling and in the fourth quarter he failed badly in that regard.

Thibs needs to recognize that our interior defense will be porous most anytime we run out two slow-footed bigs such as Thomas and Boozer.

I don't remember the poster(s) I debated pre-season about Felton/Rose and this particular Christmas day game?

Let me know if you want to come to the Knicks board. Should I BUMP that thread?

Nah just stick to bumping inbetween Amare and Gallifaggy, it's obvious you want to blow them both and since they blow each other they wouldnt mind you joining in

Easily? U realize they are a playoff caliber team right?

You'd think we've been to the ECF recently with the way some of you dudes talk.

My goodness, the Knicks are good. Get over it. We SHOULD be better but I don't see how it's obvious at all yet.

Bulls 0-2 on X-mas in NY and Bulls are 2-0 on X-mas at home against NY.
