I actually don't mind the Knicks team, its their fans that kill me.

I hate two players on the Heat far more than any Knicks player.

It's weird. I hate the Knicks with a passion. Even when they were laughing stocks of the NBA I loved their misery.

They are definitely my most hated franchise.

Honestly, if you didn't watch the NBA in the 90's, you'd have absolutely no idea why people thought the Knicks and Bulls are rivals. The Knicks and Bulls aren't rivals. They just had a couple of decent matchups a generation ago. That doth not rivals make.

The real question is does this bad L break the back of the Chigago Bulls? Is there season now destroyed, have the New york Knicks put a dagger through there heart. Or was this just a nasty old fashion punch in the mouth? That the Bulls can bounce back from, I for one question this team lack of a heart. It's gut check time in Chicago.

I think it's the "We are better just because we live in New York and everyone wants to be here" attitude. Definitely hate the Heat, but still hate the Knicks just a tad more. I think it's because I have hated them for a long time now and that kind of hate just doesn't go away.

*scratches head*

We stumbled into the 8th seed two yrs straight..so, exactly what level are we on?

I think the hate for NY is so blind, some of you just can't believe we're pretty much of the same caliber. Newsflash...Amare and Pringles have been pretty good together.

Chicago hasn't done anything but coming here you'd think we've been a top tier squad the last few yrs. Glad they've been in the offs the last 5 outta 6 but c'mon now, we haven't done anything.......YET

Apparently you didn't take the hint, or notice what happened to your fellow Knick fan posters who decided to be douchebags earlier in this thread. Go home and take this public warning for trolling with you. Responding to this post with anything other than fawning apologies would not be a good idea.

Bulls need to either make a major trade or fire the Coach or GM, you fans deserve better then this.

Someone reminds me of a little birdie that is never going to get to spread its wings, but splat right into the ground, knowing only a short brutal life.

Late on rotations all game. First game since Noah has been out that I found myself wishing he was healthy.

Deng is incapable of playing 48 minutes of focused basketball. When he plays these aloof type games, and we lose, it's very hard to dismiss his lack of focus.

Boozer, terrible defense.

Oh well. If we meet the Knicks in the playoffs well have HC I'm sure and hopefully we'll be healthy. Aside from that, pretty meaningless game.
Keith Bogans does his job. Boo Hoo. You want him to quit?

This reminds me of when we beat the pistons up during the regular season and bragged about it, but when it came to the rest of the season and playoffs they were the superior team.

We need a starting and productive SG bad.

That charge on Booz in the 4th quarter was terrible. Amare had one foot on the circle and the other foot completely behind the circle. Huge 3 pt play taken away from us in crunchtime.

Is this moron serious? With Noah we win this game hands down. We still have a better record than the Knicks and have faced the toughest part of our schedule while they have faced their easiest part. I really hope this guy isn't serious. If so....

Rerisen wrote:I get your point. I just think the factors everyone has mentioned are more important in predicting *future* performance vs what has transpired in the past, as those past factors are definitely going to change (in terms of schedule strength, and likely health too).

I'm more interested in the future than the season at a snapshot 30 games in. To which we have still been better even so - if just by a modest amount.

Even by that modest amount, they're on our level. The future is fine, but it's never certain. Looking at things as they are right now really isn't so illogical. Even with their flaws, they have been a good team to this point. That's my point.
