WTF are you talking about we were down 1 at half because Monta Ellis had an efficient 24 points. Sure it's a team effort but David Lee played a bigger role in Portland's points than he did in the Warriors ones.

He had four first half assists, several smart passes that led to assists, screened well. He was down on defense and rebounding....but he sure as hell contributed in more than just the stat sheet, in case you are aware that that thing doesn't tell you everything.

Just try to use some awareness instead of just looking for reasons to pick on him. It sounds "uninformed" when you do that.

He's tired. Smart played him all 12 minutes this quarter.

C'mon Nick, no excuses for fumbling a straight pass.

He's been playing huge minutes most of the season. At least Monta got a breather. Hope Steph can give some scoring.

He was fading the last few minutes of that quarter, you could see it. Smart should've given him a rest.

Lee's mistake nonetheless, but most big men get a break when they start panting after huge stretches of PT.

Toothy

Udoh is a natural. I don't even care if he doesn't score, he is a real presence on defense. Just a big, studly athlete that knows how to play the game and plays with heart.

I'd like to see us get the ball to Monta with some screens and actual plays run here. When we just try to make it up on the fly by doing a drive and then one pass it rarely goes well.
