He's just not good though. Whoever was calling him the next amare is flat out crazy

With all these mood swings this board has, I won't be surprised if the lot of you are actually teenage girls.

I dont think I was ever high on Warrick at all. If someone takes the time to meander through my history to try and correct me, that's fine.

I thought he'd be decent but he just flat out can't cut it, even in our 2nd unit.

Warrick is a very good finisher but that's where it ends with him. He's a poor defender, weak rebounder and is very fragile and can't hold his ground. He's a small forward who we are trying to make him a power forward. He can dunk and block shots from the weak side at times. He also doesn't shoot the ball consistatly from the 15-18 ft which hurts him even more. He's a one trick pony.

Hopefully the Suns can trade him but I'm afraid its going to be at Childress expense. Maybe they get lucky and they use Vince Carter to get rid of him. Maybe a Vince Carter and Hakim Warrick for Keyon Martin and Ronaldo Blackman.

I thought of something better. What if the Suns kept Vince Carter, traded a way some other guys because we have plenty of assets to offer other teams. At first I thought, Marcin Gortat is what the Suns have been wanting for the last half decade, however, I think Robin Lopez is coming out of his shell.
We could trade Marcin Gortat, Josh Childress, and Orlando's First Round Pick for Zach Randolph, or even Marcin Gortat, Mikael Pietrus, and both first round picks for Josh Smith. The first trade would give the Suns another prolific scorer alongside Nash and Carter, essentially we'd have our own big three, yet we'd stay under the radar. The second trade we'd have to rely more on Nash, Carter, and Hill to lead the team offensively, while Josh Smith would just be the glue guy on defense, and he would be our best pick and roll guy. I think these trades would benefit the Suns a lot more then trading away Vince Carter because he can really be a great wingman to Nash. I'd rather go with the second trade...
Nash/Dragic
Carter/Chill
Hill/Dudley
Smith/Warrick
Lopez/Frye
We would instantly lose what we've fought so hard to acquire for the last several years in a big man, but honestly, Smith fits the role of the Suns PF so much smoother than any other PF in the league. Lopez is showing tremendous strides of becoming a starting caliber center. I'd still like to lose Warrick and get Lou back. Our bench would still have enough fire power.

Not bad Ideas Qwiggs, so essentially we would have traded J. Rich and a bad Hedo contract for J. Smoove and Carters 17 mil expiring... or something like that.

Wouldn't do Marcin Gortat, Josh Childress, and Orlando's First Round Pick for Zach Randolph.

I would do Marcin Gortat, Mikael Pietrus, and both first round picks for Josh Smith.

Z-Bo's talents are much better suited for a slowed down, disciplined half court offense. In our system, he'd just be trying to keep up with us and once every 5-7 possessions would he get the ball where he wanted it (in the low post). Also, I really don't like the idea of Z-BO having so much freedom with the ball. We've all seen the kinds of incredibly stupid decisions he makes on the court, I just don't trust him. I don't think his character issues will be a problem.

I would throw a lot towards J-Smooth. He's the perfect PF in our system. Not as good offensively as Amare even though he can do a lot of the high flying stuff as him but he's a huge upgrade defensively.

Not sure if this has been mentioned, as I haven't been on the boards much lately with work and the holidays... but I found this kind of interesting, considering how badly J-Rich played after being so great in the beginning of the season...

"G Jason Richardson knew he would be traded by the Phoenix Suns weeks before it happened, but he just didn't know where he was going. Richardson figured that the Suns' reluctance to even discuss a contract extension he wanted was a sure sign he was going somewhere soon. "The trade didn't catch me off guard at all. I knew when they wouldn't talk to me about the extension that I wouldn't be there much longer," he said. "I knew something was going to happen."

That's exactly why I emphasized that I would take HIS word for it. Wtf? You guys misunderstood that post, big time. At least if I'm interpreting your posts correctly...

Edit; rsavaj is one of my favorite members around here, right after Croesusdeluxo.

Aww, thanks for all the e-love. I'm going to print this out, put it in my wallet, and show it to anyone who says that I have no friends.

Wait...I shouldn't have said that.
