It's just tough because we're overpaying both him AND Frye, who are both offense-only bigs. We need to move one of them, we're paying what, around 9 mil a year for them combined? Yuck.

To be fair, Frye has improved most aspects of his game this year. Unfortunately his 3 point shooting isn't as awesome as it was most of last year, but he's added a couple post moves, and knows when to fake a 3 and side step for the open shot now. He even added a little hook shot that usually goes in...

He's also improved a ton defensively... he's no DPOY, or anything, but he usually does a decent enough job (better than Warrick, by far) and has become an underrated shot blocker. I, personally, think he's earning his paycheck and the Suns need to do something to get Warrick off the team.

Suns need to try and package Warrick and a wing (or two) for a legit PF. (duh)

I truly believe that once Gortat feels more comfortable, this team will be mentally and physically tougher. Like most of us, I expected the Suns to lose this game. I'm not sure why everyone is so bent out of shape. It took the Magic two games before Jrich, Hedo and Gil to feel more comfortable. Give this team 10 games before we label this team. Meanwhile, we keep playing really good teams, there's a stretch where the Suns can win 10 to 12 gamed in a row.

As for Bosh, he is not an all star player. He's an above average NBA player. I can count 10 players that are much better than him(Amare, Hardford, Garnett, Gasol, Zach Randolph, Love, Boozer, Dirk, Al Jefferson and Aldridge). Honestly, I'm not sure why Lebron and Wade wanted Bosh instead of Amare or Boozer. Both player are much better than Bosh. Did Bosh elevate the players around him in Toronto? I still remember the game where Shaq abused him here in Phx and Shaq scored 38 points with NO Steve Nash or Amare. So they took him off Shaq and them Amudson started to abuse him. I believe that Amudson scored 25 points that game.

I do agree with you about Frye, I've been impressed by his effort to branch out. I just hate to say it but as many rebounds as he's been able to grab it's just not ideal. It's a tall shooting guard doing some rebounding. I guess I'm coming from the, is he effective as a big man, standpoint. Which I think not, which is why I feel like he's overpaid.

To all those people who said they can't Miami (and especially LeBron), just more fuel for the fire.

OT: Lebron (didn't feel a need to make a thread, so...)

December 24, 2010 10:10 a.m. EST
The self-styled "King James" is celebrating his birthday in a lavish manner with an 11-stop tour of the United States.

STORY HIGHLIGHTS

* Miami Heat's LeBron James is looking for sponsors for his 26th birthday party
* Investment opportunities are available for between $10,000-$500,000
* The Miami bash will boast A-list celebrities according to marketing firm he hired
* James is participating in an 11-stop dinner party tour, set to run until April

Is there a bigger douche that's as high on himself as Lebron James right now?

Been a while since I saw this. :D

But yeah, I missed the game, but I watched my recording, and despite the tough loss, I think you can take alot of positivies out of this.

We definitely were lacking in the scoring department. As much as Dudley beasted, he himself said "when I'm the leading scorer, that's not a good thing."

Nash couldn't score because he was being overly doubled-team. Grant Hill is wearing himself out trying to guard lebron, and Pietrus and Gortat had limited minutes but had some nice defensive moments.

When Pietrus gets into the system, he'll be deadly. He had a bad shooting night, but at least he was attempting to attack the basket. He probably did that once with the Magic this season.

Also this is where VC comes in. He becomes that guy who can share the scoring load for Nash, he can create his own shot and he can run the pnr with Lopez or Gortat.

Disappointed with the loss, but hopefully we can bounce back on Sunday against the Clips.

After watching the Heat dismantled the Lakers.. I feel much better about Thursday game.. The heat can really play shut down defense.. They are as good as the Celtics when it comes to the defensive end.

Yes sir, but you have to look into account that the Suns are trying to add two new players into the lineup and the third piece was not in the lineup. They also took Nash out of the game which didn't help. Overall, I feel much better since the Heat took out Pau and Kobe out of their game as well. So yea, I feel a little better about our lose.
