GT: Wizards vs. Spurs

Post#1 » by Nolan » Fri Dec 24, 2010 8:30 pm

When: 7:00 PM ET, December 26, 2010
Where: AT&T Center, San Antonio, TX

Starting Lineups:

Wizards:
PG Kirk Hinrich
SG - Nick Young
SF - Rashard Lewis
PF - Andray Blatche
C - JaVale McGee

Spurs:
PG - Tony Parker
SG - Manu Ginobli
SF - Richard Jefferson
PF - Tim Duncan
C - Dejuan Blair

Should be an easy boxing day matchup for us. The Wizards have been pretty terrible so far this year, but we can't play down to their level. We need to come out with some energy and burry them early in the game.

Go Spurs and Merry Christmas!!

Well we should kill these guys. They're winless on the road and are missing a bunch of players.

Also, we're at home and just came off a loss. No way we lose this game. Might even be a blowout.

No McGee and Blatche is just going to make this game so much easier.

I will say this as a Wiz fan. We are playing by far our best ball of the year. We lost to the Heat by 1pt at home and it was a clear blow. We were up by like 6 in the last 2 or 3min of the game. Then we blew out the Bobcats and we led the Bulls midway through the 3rd quarter. We wont have Wall, Dray, or McGee but we still have some solid guys in Hinrich, Young, Howard, Lewis, Thorton, and so on. We could make it interesting

Wall practiced today and will be a game time decision but we play at Houston tomorrow so I dont see us playing him in this game without Dray & McGee

First 30 games of the season and a 26-4 record. That's pretty impresive and unexpected.

Wizards are playing better and have some talent there, but they're still the Wizards. Can't believe the McGee-Blatche situation..

Anyways, just a win and that was it. Parker with a season record of assist, he is playing so good.. Would've liked to watch Splitter not only in garbage minutes..We need to add him now to the system so as to compete against Lakers/Celtics frontcourt.

Yeah no one expected us to win 26 of our first 30, that's for sure. I knew if healthy we could be great again, but not to this extent.

Our next game vs LA is the measuring stick.

Return to San Antonio Spurs
