why isn't nemanja bjelica getting any time for caja laboral? he has only played more than 10 minutes twice(just) in euroleague comepition and barely plays at all in acb competition? any one know why this is? he could be a good piece for us in the future but he is never gonna improve unless he gets some time oevr in europe.
It is a bit concerning to be fair. especially considering caja only plays with two players in their frontcourt (rest is spot mins for bjelica and that other guy). Latest i heard was that he was having back spasms as of late. Also, on two separate occasions with serbian media he signaled that he made the right move and that he likes the opportunity for improvement there (his coach is widely known as the most exacting coaches around europe as far as practised, and he is reluctant to playing new players big mins).
Im not liking the low minutes at all.
finally, does he have a brother named milko that plays with jonas valaciunas in lietuvos rytas? i know they share the same last name and he has been playing quite well
Not related.

A friend asked about Bjelica. I believe he is no good. Ivkovic the father of all coaches in Serbia picked Keselij instead of Bjelica. He is really talented but very soft and does not have that Serbian 3 point killer instict... I mean just remember players playing for Yugoslavia at the three spot. They could really make it outside the perimeter.
I've watched him extensively as he played for my fav serbian club. its true when you say that he is soft. Olympiacos has 3 of the top 5 playmakers in europe so i really see little use for bjelica as a fit there, they play with two of those on the court simultaneously more often than not. i think keselj was just a better fit.
His talents are a conundrum, it really seems that he can do virtually anything on the court at times. he shoots well, incredible courtvision, passes well, dribbles good, anticipates stealing good, read the game on both ends, bit unathletic though. the intermittent kukoc comparisons were not unwarranted. This kid was THE sensation in serbian media while playing for red star. he completely owned some games by his own in all competitions.
his main weakness is of mental character. he seems to be mentally fragile. it may hamper him from become what he could be.
I think he might be a solid fit as a pointforward to complement the pg spot in playmaking. i just dont see where he would get mins over beasley if he'd eventually come over.
