If the Giants lose, you still need the Vikings to win Tuesday. Regardless, the Bears are in position to get a bye week. It can happen Tuesday or they can get it on Sunday. I guess you just have to ask yourself if you think it'd be beneficial for a very healthy team on a bit of a roll to get a bye week or not.

Keep in mind, if the Packers win today, you face them next week with them in a "win and they're in" situation. Still a lot of variables to factor in here, but I'd much rather be in this position than New York's or Green Bay's.

I'd like to play the Giants in the 1st round if possible. But the Packers will beat us I think.

I choose go Giants. I'm not trusting Minnesota or Dallas to beat Philly. So if we don't win in GB next week I'd rather play the Giants than GB in the 1st round.

Packers beat Giants. If the Eagles lose Tuesday, we secure 2nd seed & 1st rd bye.

CHICAGO BEARS

Chicago clinches a first-round bye:

1) CHI win + PHI loss + NYG loss or tie

The Bears clinch a first rd bye & DO NOT have to win next week if Giants & Eagles both lose this week.

Eagles aren't losing with Joe Webb playing QB for the Vikes. That kid is way too raw.

There's an outside chance they could lose to the Cowboys, even though the Boys aren't that good either.

The Cowboys are going to have 3rd string QB McGee out there so we really need to win next week. Our game has been moved to 3:15 Central by the way.

What gets SNF, Bucs-Saints? Rams-Seahawks?

Here we go. Not sure I get why Tampa and NO didn't get flexed, but if the Eagles win Tuesday, Bears won't have any Week 17 result from the Eagles to base their game plan off of.

I'm glad we aren't on SNF. Cutler has been awful on SNF in the past and last time we played a meaningless game on SNF in week 17 (assuming this is meaningless which it probably won't be), Rex Grossman shat himself.

Frankly, I'm give or take with the bye week. This team is healthy and rolling right now, there can be a downside to a bye week. But I'd much rather be in this spot than Green Bay's.

Well if we win next week, we'll have the bye. If we lose, we play Green Bay at home in the 1st round. I'll take the bye thank you very much. Packers just scare me.
