I think in the end, Frye had to be resigned his 3PT shooting is vital to our spacing and his defense/rebounding has been surprisingly adequate for what we do. But definitely Lou instead of Warrick. Warrick is a liability on defense and his offense is about as streaky as it can get. Lou's defense is always there and whatever he gives offensively is a bonus.

I said from the beginning that losing Lou would be the biggest deal of the offseason.

Hate when I'm right.

Of course it sucks to lose lou. I don't see how it's worse than Amare leaving, but it still damn well hurts. It's even compounded by the fact that he was replaced by Warrick, a guy who plays no D, doesn't rebound and might as well have the offensive game of Lou, when paired with Nash.

Frye is playing, really, really well this season.

Lou is not.

I don't see why how we'd be better off with Lou instead of Frye.

Frye is a true one trick pony who fouls too much and despite his minor defensive improvements is still pretty soft and not a consistent rebounder. One of the weakest defensive 4's in the league. He's a gimmick really. We need Lou's energy on defense. I'm probably a little biased since I really hate guys like frye(7'0, chucker) who throw up sooo many 3s, but I think we need Lou's defense alot more than what frye brings. Frye is probably better than warrick, I'd give up either for Lou or someone who brings that defensive intensity. I have no doubt he would have kept up his great play with us.
Steve Nash is the point guard jason kidd wishes he was.

+1
I don't care if people say Kerr was just the poster boy whereas Griffin was the real decision maker, I want the Kerr/Griff combo back. They had vision, they set the team in the right direction and they gave us a future. I was really optimistic with them in office. To Babby/Blanks credit, they did pull off a nice trade to correct their mistake, just as Kerr did with the Shaq trade so I do see some hope in this new FO.
