Who's better for the Nets: Vujacic or T-Will?

Post#1 » by NyCeEvO » Tue Dec 28, 2010 1:48 am

I'm sure this topic will draw the ire of some of us. Sasha Vujacic/Vujapova/Sharavic or T-Will: Who fits the Nets better and why?

I still believe T-Will fits better, if he's got his head on straight. Sasha's role didn't really exist until Morrow's injury. Although, perhaps with Morrow healthy, it will eliminate the need for Outlaw.

^It won't happen this year, I think if we trade Trout it'll be minimum next year.

Vujacic fits slightly better and short term he might actually be better for the Nets but long-term it's not comparable Vujacic is what he is T-Will still has plenty of upside left whether he reaches it or not who knows but Vujacic's ceiling is strictly that of a 15 mpg role player.

Neither.

Both are towel guys on other teams. Vujacic was on the Lakers, T-Will is on the Rockets.

The Nets make scrubs more important than they should be.

^^ This^^

Sure we'd all love to think T-Will would reach his full potential here and he still could but we got rid of him before his value was nothing. He just reeks of a guy that is never going to get it

I like T-will more. I think T-Will had a CHANCE at developing on our team but just threw that chance away with his own idiocy. He won't get that kind of shot with any other team, especially a contending western confrence team. Sasha doesn't really add much to our squad other than another expiring contract.

Down with NJN since Kenny and Derrick

lol i would agree with this but if u watched the bulls game tonight he made a great crossover to a dunk in the second quarter... albeit on a 6'9'' power forward in boozer... but still hah

and as far as this debate goes, right now i think twill is the better fit because we dont have that wing that can take over so he wouldnt step on anyone's toes but i think getting rid of him was essential if we want to get one of those superstar players on our roster. if we are able to land a top player such as melo then vujacic is a way better fit

I think Sasha has taken some very bad shots. Hes makin them now, but eventually they are going to stop dropping. I have a feeling you guys are going to hate him soon and miss T Will. T Will is going to be a special player IMO within a few years.

PS: not a net fan, i acualy dislike the nets. But i do watch their games from time to time since i do live in NJ. Just my 2c

Will do, im born and raised in NJ so i have no bad blood against you guys. Just the team you chose to root for :p

I just think its a lil crazy how high some of you guys were on T will and all of a sudden now he is a scrub. He may have attitude problems, but the kid has a ton of talent and potential still. With a little work he can end up being a pretty good player in this league He had sum like 2 or 3 triple doubles in the d league right? I love 2 guards who have point guard skills. I was a fan of his in college too so i'm kinda glad im able to root for him now that he isnt a Net haha.

come on man, most were optimistic of his talents...he was having more problems fitting into our locker room and system...there is no doubt we hoped he would of succeeded, but if you watched most of his games this year, there wasnt much to talk about (I dont get too excited about DLeague triple doubles)...blame Avery/Billy if you want...But right now its an uphill battle for Twill to earn a starting job in this league, maybe possible if he pulled everything together...

good luck to him...

fingers crossed Avery realizes this...we all know he still likes how Outlaw matches up on the defensive side vs some teams...this dude runs so hot and cold I cant stomache it anymore...

Thank you for the opening JJ I've been meaning to get this off my chest... TRAVIS OUTLAW IS A POWER FORWARD NOT A SMALL FORWARD.

Why Avery can't realize this and play Outlaw accordingly is beyond me. Bench Petro. play Favors at PF/C and give Outlaw ample time at PF.

No joke but If the Nets could just do this simple lineup change we'd see a serious uptick in Outlaw's production...

Ok, with a bunch of games under both of their respective belts, what do we think? T-Will isn't exactly tearing it up in Houston. T-Will has collected about 17 DNPs since the trade so it looks like isn't getting much love in Houston either.
