Wow

Wonder how Stern will feel about him saying this publicly. This is probably about as 180 from what he is trying to do as I could image.

LeDouche wants there to be a fewer teams and less revenue or he wants the main market teams to be able to grab all the talent and crush the weaker teams because he isn't good enough to do it on his own.

I think Sterm is pushing the other direction. It is a league. It should be a level playing field. All teams and franchises should have a shot at winning it all not just a handful of major market teams with deep pockets.

That is what the NFL got away from when it did it's new CBA and it's a large part of what took down the Skins as Mr Cooke was out spending everyone.

Sorry LaDouche, when the new CBA comes out, your Miami team will likely get broken up and you will be exposed as a loser again.

A current player suggesting that other guys jobs should be eliminated and actually naming specific teams as examples? Wow.

LeBron must have complete idiots in charge of his PR. He really has nothing to gain and a whole lot to lose from his statements. Strengthening the owners position does make it more likely that the team will be forced to split up or severely limited in the amount of help they can get.

Money? Perhaps he thinks that with contraction, there would be fewer players to split the pool--a pool that would not be proportionately contracted, since the eliminated teams would be money losers--and the top players could be paid more.

As if we needed another reason to hate this guy....

Actually, the thing that annoyed me was him complaining about the Christmas Day game:

“If you ask any player in the league, we’d rather be home with our families,” James said. “I think the people that even set the games up would rather be home with their family during this day. It’s not just a regular holiday. It’s definitely one of those days that you wish you could wake up in the morning with the kids and open up presents.”

Um, yeah. I would rather spend the summers with my family at one of my 3 beach houses in Hawaii or Florida or wherever, but - oh that's right - I DIDN"T SIGN THE $100 MILLION DOLLAR CONTRACT OR SELL MY LIKENESS TO NIKE, ESPN, AND ANYONE ELSE WHO WOULD PAY FOR IT....

Seriously. You're playing a game for a living, making more money in a week than most of us make in a lifetime. And you're about the biggest publicity whore there is, with your one hour Decisionapalooza and endless commercials every time we turn on the TV. You live on the adoration of armies of sycophants and nameless groupies. And you whine about playing on Christmas Day? Really?

Punk.....

Maverick Carter is good at cashing checks, but he's terrible at managing his client's tongue.

Anyone surprised by this? Sounds odd, but fits with what we know of LeBron and his....sensitivity to criticism.

In a move as weak as the college bowl system itself, Orange Bowl officials have announced that the Stanford Band will not be allowed to perform at halftime of the Orange Bowl. So it’s come to this: the band is being punished for something it might do. And speculation is that it’s all to protect LeBron James.

While I’ve seen no official statement from the Orange Bowl, I do know that Stanford’s planned halftime performance is entitled “Recent Events in the Pro Sports World in Miami.” That can mean only one thing; a devastating satirical takedown of [the Marlins’ Dan Uggla] LeBron James. Hilarity was sure to ensue, until Dean Wormer stepped in and invoked double secret probation.

Add this to the reasons to throw up when you think of this guy.

http://www.boston.com/sports/blogs/theb ... _lift.html
"We call ourselves the ‘Heatles' like the Beatles," said James.

The real problem with James's comparison of his nascent basketball team to the greatest rock and roll band of all time is that -- gasp -- he may have stolen it.

In 2007, Celtics forward Kevin Garnett called the newly-assembled Boston Celtics the "Ceatles", comparing Boston's Big Three (plus an anonymous One) to John, Paul, George, and Ringo. Watch the clip below, which shows Garnett making that comparison on ESPN All-Access in Oct. 2007. (Start the clip from the 1:30 mark and note Paul Pierce's and Ray Allen's reactions. Priceless).

LeDouch and KG. Now that is good company.

Further evidence that LeBron is a front-running bully. Gloating about the Cavs loss to the Lakers.

I was cruising the Cavs board last night. And man, things look *bleak* over there. Skimpy theads; sporadic posting (most of which was spent fending off trolls and MIA fans). No game threads to speak of; it looked like the way some boards do during the offseason. It's a graveyard.

I always thought your mods were a little hypersensitive; but other than that, I enjoyed the jousting. I hate to see your fan base reduced to its current state.

Yeah... Things don't look good right now. Hopefully the Indians can hold us over til both NFL and NBA drafts. With lockouts looming for both, there might not even be drafts. But honestly. What can we actually talk about on our board? We get pulverized night in and night out. I'm sorry. I'm not gonna sit there to talk about how a 55 point blowout made me feel last night. After all. It's just sports. But yeah... Other than that. Everything in Cleveland is swell. We have nice snowy stadiums and arenas that sucky teams play in... What more can I say? *shrugs*

For Miami fans, leBJ is the trophy spouse (a chumly one, to be sure) on a second marriage, with a great body and an insatiable sex drive that will sleep with them as long as they keep signing the checks. Cleveland is the cuckold with endless love but not enough money in the end, and then no spouse, and now the ex s**ts on Cleveland at every turn. I guess some Miami fans understand that they are just johns and leBJ is the trick, but It's just sad to see some of them believing that he actually loves them, and who likes a someone that steals another's spouse and then throws taunts?

LeBron Plans Animated Series For Kids
LeBron James is planning an animated series that will be geared towards children....

In a statement, James says the show "is a great way to show youths of all ages how to be a good person."

I can't think of anything to add here.

The only things missing are the "Moms" character, the Delonte West character, and the Jim Gray sycophantic twerp character.
