We're not playing very good...no energy. Portland is just playing harder than we are...they want it more. If D-Will wasn't playing out of his mind in the first half we would have been down 5-8 points....now it's starting to catch up to us.

We are playing like complete garbage. It's a miracle we're even in this game.

Even without Camby, they're still grabbing all the loose balls.

Our guys need to hustle like they are.

Scoreboard and game won't look like it but Portland whooped our ass.

They played with a lot of heart and toughness.

BTW, what happened to Kirilenko? He barely played in the second half.

Portland sucks. The fact that this game is even close is evidence of that. I can't remember the last time the Jazz played this God-awful.

What upsets me is the fact that we didn't play inside more. Memo was posting up and only once got the ball inside. Big Al almost didn't get touches inside, while Aldridge was posting up all the time and basically killed us at the end.

And why did Raja play in the 4th? AK should have played over him or even CJ, but why Raja?

Big Al and Paul combined for 22 and 12. That's not good enough. And Hayward should be in the d-league where he can practice shooting wide open 3's.

I hate to point out but we could have really used the length of Fesenko to contest some shots. Millsap can't guard Aldridge.

And no Jeremy Evans, booo!

We're now 10-9 against Western teams. This is not looking good. :(

Update: X-rays negative. Hopefully he can get out on the floor pretty soon but I'm not sure what's going on with him. Good luck for the rest of the season guys. The Blazers needed this game and got in finished but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't scared at the end there when Deron started hitting everything. I won't lie, I'm not the biggest Jazz fan in the world, but hopefully you guys wind up higher than the Thunder. I guess you could say I have a beef with them being a northwesterner :) .

So is Sloan giving all of AK's 4th quarter minutes to Hayward now? Second game in a row he's done that and while it just hapenned to work out in the Wolves game we can't have him out there when the game is on the line, might as well be playing 4 vs 5 on offense.

I thought Aldridge just hit a lot of tough shots. Defense wasn't horrible. Maybe could have been more physical, but it seemed like all of his shots were contested.

I don't agree with Sloan going with Hayward late in the game. Needed CJ's scoring. Jazz were FG-less from the 5 min mark to like the 1 min mark or something. CJ needed to be in there. Sloan said as much after the game.
