Pro Bowl Rosters

Post#1 » by ReasonablySober » Wed Dec 29, 2010 12:01 am

We'll find out officially soon, but according to Wilde the Packer reps are Clifton (LOL), Collins, Woodson (LOL), Jennings and Matthews.

No Raji, Tramon or Rodgers.

The Pro Bowl is a joke.

Shoutout to the 15 year olds who vote 10 million times for Shaun "Ive played in 6 games" O Hara, and Jay "I'm a Cowboy" Ratliff.

LMFAO.

Biggest joke in sports goes to this event. Nothing like a guy with 20 INT's making the Pro Bowl.

They need to eliminate fan voting for every pro-bowl / all-star event.

No Tramon or Sitton is an absolute JOKE. Unreal.

Don't get me started on Clifton getting in.

I partially agree but the fans actually had Sitton at the top of the pro bowl voting yet the coaches/players didn't vote for him. Absolute insanity on that one.

I actually don't mind the QBs chosen over A-Rod. Not saying I agree with them, but I do see their arguments.

"How did Aaron Rodgers not make it???? That's just wrong. Check the stats. Rodgers outdoes Ryan in EVERY category!"
First comment on NFL's webpage. EVERY category, oh besides wins. (Yeah, I know people will say thats a team stats, but I feel record should have some input on choices if stats are close.)

I don't mind Ryan making it, I think its a joke that Brees made it over Rodgers this year. Ryan is very deserving.

I'll take Rodgers and his accuracy but Brees does have 32 TDs, more yards, and more wins. Not a complete travesty.

Since this is by far the worst of all of the all-star games I really don't want any of our guys actually playing. Making the team is fine, getting whatever bonus they have coming is fine but I don't want a blown out knee or achilles. And with our injury luck this year that's exactly what would happen.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

And over twice as many interceptions. I think it is a shame, Drew Brees has not had a very good season this year and isn't deserving imo.

32 to 27 with Rodgers missing 1.5 games.

More yards again with Rodgers missing 1.5 games and Brees throwing 173 more passes.

More wins is a joke unless he magically won all those games for the Saints. Even if you want to use that, how many wins would Brees have with the Packers with all the injuries?

Rodgers has 31 total td's if you count his 4 rushing and only 10 int's. He also has only 11 total turnovers, 10 int's and 1 fumble lost. He's definitely more deserving than Brees.

That wouldn't matter if they got selected to the Pro Bowl - they could simply sit out. And Rodgers probably would have considering the beating he's taken this season.

I just think it's a joke that Matt Ryan and Drew Brees got picked over Rodgers. Brees threw 21 picks. Ryan's numbers aren't that great. Both teams had the fortune of playing Carolina and the entire NFC West. Rodgers also had to do it without a running game and had great numbers despite missing 1 1/2 games.

It's mind-boggling, really.
