Carter to start, Dudley off the bench

Couple of quick notes:

LOL at this becoming a bench Hill thread. Again.

Carter will start, which will be better for the team.

Dudley has found his shot again, and can continue making it rain off the bench and with the starting unit in stretches.

+1 to the comment about scoring a lot in losses. It's impressive from the perspective of an individual performance, but would translate better into an arguement were it a winning effort.

I'm all for giving Dudley that many shots if he's open and if he's on fire I think Gentry needs to leave him in the game. Damn the normal rotation. But our starting unit needs to be more dynamic, and Carter gives us that.

The Orlando Magic forum is full of idiots. "MikaelPietrus" said he shot 6% from three on the road when he shot 18%.

there are really some respectable members in that forum but there're also a lot of ignorant members. the fact is they don't know how to debate and they usually fail when it comes to using stats in discussions.

Suns Carter Likely to Return Against Philly

the Suns training staff allowed him to scrimmage 5-of-5 in practice on Tuesday. Afterwards, he told reporters that he was pain-free once again.

“I felt good,” Carter said. “The first couple minutes were rough. I felt winded quickly, (since I’ve been) out for a while, but once I got going, I felt good.”

“I thought he looked ok," Suns Head Coach Alvin Gentry said. "Obviously it was his first time out. He obviously brings a talent level here that is pretty special.”

“We’re excited about him we’ll get him out there and see how long he can go (in his next game),” Gentry said. “I think he’ll eventually be what we all think he can be.”
