If this is what it take Reke to get better then I'm for it.

This. The season is a lost cause, so you might as well do what you can to get healthy and not do any permanent harm.

I say do it soon don't wait! That way maybe he can come back with a few games left in the season and they can work on some stuff.

Better to get healthy now while it doesn't nmatter and then have the opportunity to see what else you have with this team and possibly showcase pieces to move.

Better than him sucking balls.

Though, he was pretty awesome today. If only he made that last second fling shot... That would've been an amazing "I'M BACK BISHES" thing.

I'm 100% for him taking as long a break as he needs. This season is a lost cause. We're going to lose with him or without him, and I highly doubt people are buying tickets to see him shoot 30% from the field. Come back in rookie-year form, and accelerate Cousins' growth by letting him have the ball in his hands for a few months.

Tyreke needs rest, just by watching him.

Why did they trade KMart again? He was injured too much.

Wow. Good thing the Maloofs made sure to get rid of KMart so they wouldn't be in the playoffs .
Houston right now without Yao, lead by Martin is 14-14 a half game out of the playoffs.

Good thing the Kings didn't need anymore leadership or scoring or help in winning games.

The Rockets are laughing all the way to the playoffs for stealing KMart for a star hungry Rocket team from the MAGOOFS. Add that the Magoofs fired Adelman means Adelman/KMart will be in the playoffs for 5 or so years.

Payback is a BEATCH, MAGOOFS. That is why you don't back stab players who are injured or coaches using post CWebb teams.

Judging how many Kings are in playoff teams says no lesson has been learned by these boneheads. KMart, Salmons, Miller, Bibby, Artest, Hawes, SWilliams are all brought by Petrie given up on by DA MAGOOFS, making key contributions to teams in playoff hunt. Or the 6 coaches changes in 6 years means Da Magoofs have not learned the lesson.

I don't think that's why Kevin Martin was traded.

in EVERY move we've made since we've traded Mike Bibby the deal has had a take less money feel to it. We're cutting costs and starting from square 1 through the draft. If you don't get that...you missed the boat.

Injuries, personalities, etc etc have nothing to do with any of the moves.

Tyreke can take the rest of the year off as far as I'm concerned. Maybe the others will learn to play some basketball, and when he comes back he'll learn how to integrate himself with the team.

Since the team should be all about looking to the future/long-term over short-term gains, I would say Evans should go ahead with it if it is for the best in the long run. It sucks, but at least it isn't career threatening or something.

I think if he gets the surgery he should just miss the remainder of the year. Better for him to go straight into the offseason and be able to rehab it correct and go about it slowly than rushing back to play in a handful of useless games with the possibility of re-injuring it.

I think he plays through it and gets the surgery after the end of the year. Can't get any worse.

I hope he plays on it till all star break giving me time to trade him for value on my fantasy team...in all reality he should get it asap i wouldnt want him to miss time over the summer when he should be workin on his game especially his shooting, and this way he can return next soon just as explosive as his rookie year

One concern I would have about Tyreke having the surgery is with regards to ticket sales. I was at the Clippers game last night and the lower bowl looked pretty full. If Evans goes out for the season and the Kings continue to lose virtually every game, I wonder how attendance will be affected and the Kings liklihood of staying in Sacramento.

However, from a basketball standpoint I think Reke should certainly shut it down for the year. Even if he plays were are going to be a high lottery team so he might as well rehab and get better for next season and playing with another top-5 pick in the mix.

When that happens you pump the hell out of Cousins, like it was supposed to be all along.

BRING IN THE TANK!!!!

Your team will be better for it. Considering Sacramento even with Reke is going to be towards the bottom of the conference, you could really look to pick up a top 5 pick next year. I imagine that would go a long ways in bolstering Sacramento's young but talented roster.

Watching a team leave Seattle and end up blowing up in OKC, I could see Sacramento improving a lot in the next couple years. Top five picks help.

Sometimes you just need to be bad in order to be good.

Feel good in sucking. It's for the best.

Only problem is that between his fouling and sh*tastic relationship with PW I don't think he's going to play enough to be a frontman for the King's organization.

I think the Kings and the fans are quite happy with the base of talent they currently have. What we can't feel good about is how terribly mismanaged it is on the court. So many possibilities, so many skills, yet, they are rarely ever used. Makes Sac's situation look worse to everyone else, such a shame.

I wasn't a fan of Paul Westfail in Seattle either.
