He deserved to be cut. He has no shot of being a contender in any weight class. Good BJJ, but only seems to be able to beat cans.

He needs to hit the smaller shows and become more well rounded.

His UFC career consisted of beating one dimensional/non-technical fighters and losing to everyone halfway decent. Not surprised at all that he was cut.
