Jermaine Taylor

Post#1 » by FinNasty » Wed Dec 29, 2010 4:16 pm

Hey guys. Big UCF fan here, and was wondering how Jermaine Taylor has looked for you guys? I see he hasnt got many minutes this year. Is that due to injury or is he just not playing well enough to get on the floor? He seems to be playing well when on the court though, shooting 51% FG and 40% from behind the 3?

Also, do you guys think the injury to Evans is going to get him more playing time? Or will that not be a factor?

Thanks in advance!

he played about 4 minutes in the first game he was with the kings, and then i believe another few the next game. He didn't look bad by any means, played good defense and made a few shots, but it's my guess that he's just outside of westphal's rotation, which is mind you quite sporadic. if reke were to have the surgery and be out 3 to 4 months i think it's fair to say he'd get his chance. our coach has a history of making snap lineup decisions ,so he could be starting by the end of the week for all i know haha

If Desmond Mason can start for this team I don't see why Jermaine Taylor can't lol.

He probably just doesn't know the system yet. Plenty of standing exercises, time dribbling the ball, and learning to take bad shots should help that. I'd give it at least a few weeks.
