I'd like Billups. :D

He's also tradable once Rubio comes over.

Really, though, looking at NYK and NJN's rosters and the contracts, how much for how long associated with the various players, makes me really appreciate what David Kahn has been able to do here.

My opinion is that they don't need him for the stats, they have two stat stuffers in Beasley and Love, but they need someone who can bring a winning culture and hit game winners. Billups is the man. He can teach those guys how to win.

Well, technically, Ridnour and Webster both bring winning cultures. Even Beasley does, if you think about it. So I don't know if they necessarily need someone like that.

I wouldn't complain if they got him but I'd rather the team develop chemistry with whoever is in the long term plans, either Flynn or Ridnour, then just bringing Billups in for a season.

Ridnour and Webster bring a bit-player-on-a-semi-decent-team culture. Billups is a former finals MVP ( though he also brings a complacent-not-quite-as-good-as-he-thinks culture too)

Exactly. He's a former All Star. He's not that guy anymore

I think if you made a list of the 20 players least likely to be a Wolf, Billups would be on it.
