I'm probably in the minority here, but I'd like to see the Bears go all out and then we kick their asses. However, I liked that idea better if were going to play them again next week.

Part of me is relieved we won't be playing the Bears in the first round. Last year's back to back with the Cards didn't go so well, so who knows how well it would have worked out against the Bears.

it appears Smith has been preparing his backups to play more than normal. Michael C. Wright of ESPNChicago.com reports that the Bears staff told some of the team’s key backups to be ready to play. They tellingly “ramped up” practice repetitions for players like running back Kalil Bell and tight end Kellen Davis.

The NFL record for most three touchdown, zero interception games in the first three seasons starting for a quarterback is nine, by Kurt Warner. After last weeks game, Rodgers has ten.

Rodgers also needs 307 yards and one touchdown, for three consecutive seasons of 4,000 yards and 28 or more touchdowns in his first three seasons
