Gametime.
Is it to much to ask for a team that plays hard and cares? Seems so.

Joe's jumper didn't show up but he kept on with the roll call.

Tough match up for the Hawks, OKC is too quick in a lot of areas for the Hawks. Although if Joe could have shot the ball a bit better we might have pulled that one out. Rebounding was an issue tonight also. On to the Blake Griffin's and HAPPY NEW YEAR HAWKS FANS!!

Joe seriously needs a time out. Put him in street clothes and let him get healthy. Even if his arm's fine, SAY he's still hurt and needs time to heal. 6 out of 20 is unacceptable, yet it's becoming common. It's not that he's missing -- it's the huge # of shots he's taking while missing.

This is not Joe-hate but just stating the truth. There is no excuse for Joe taking so many shots on a night when he's missing them, ESPECIALLY when Smoove and Horford were hitting their shots. Joe only took 6 shots less than the 2 of them combined.

I agree with you parson even though he did have 11 assists you still got to know when the hold em like Kenny Rogers used to say. Anybody notice the little friction there at the end of the game when Westbrook passed ahead to get that Triple Double?? Josh was barking and shouting at the other end coming off the court, makes for an interesting match up in Atlanta when OKC comes calling, somebody bookmark that game.

Ya, that was odd. Ive never seen someone dunk with no shot clock with a game clearly in hand. Pretty classless.

I tried to watch my Gamecocks and Hawks, with the result that I missed too much of the Hawks game, but I guess Westbrook figured that a triple-double is too important. As for Smoove's complaint, the ol' ball coach always says if you don't like the other team running the score up, play better defense.

Truth is, I'd love to have Westbrook. He'd be lethal with us.

Getting that stat is kind of tainted in my mind, half the guys are practically giving handshakes and he speeds through with his cohort to get his triple double. Thunder are the darlings of the NBA though so it's "bully for him!" whereas I've seen various other stat padders get a new one torn out of them on this very same forum.
